Leather Weather: NAVA’s Leather Kimono

For this post i just wanna say that I got fat this Christmas well don’t we all! So this leather kimono is perfect for my bloated body right now, its shiny texture and straight cut silhouette makes mty body look a bit slimmer and hide those fats lol!

I had my shoot at a abandoned building somewhere in Quezon City. It was a bit scary in there but hey the pics are worth it!

Adidas for the holidays

Adidas AG is a German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures sports shoes, clothing and accessories. The company is based in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany.

So for today’s ootd is a vintage Adidas I’m wearing my mom’s Adidas Bowling Jacket from the late 80s.Christmas is coming on the way so the weather is getting colder,so this look is totally perfect for the holiday season. I know christmas outfits should be fun and bright but hey a little bit of change wouldn’t hurt so I paired my black out outfit with a Adidas jacket with logo and bowling patches and white tapelike stripes on the sleeve which makes a minimal outfit still fun for the holidays.

Dear Kong Kong,

Visiting you last day was total fun! I miss all the days that we had together specially those special sundays, It’s either we eat at a gourmet chinese cuisine where the chef serves lobsters that are so expensive but you still order it for us cuz you want all the best for us or you cook a whole meal for us and tell manong driver to send it to my house so my mommy won’t have to cook anymore and most of all thank you for giving me and the rest of the family all the love and care. I love you and I miss you so much!

Don Andres: A Peruvian Kitchen

Interior

The restaurant can accommodate up to 60 people at any given time with an outdoor patio area good for 20 to 30 people. It is very stylish combining Peruvian arts , fixture , lighting and patterns into the interiors of the place.

Pulpo Al Olivo

This Dish is sliced octopus coked in citrus juice , saltine crackers with Botija olive sauce ( seasonal) Can be shared with 3 to 5 people and ideal as an appetizer . Php 290

Lomo Saltado

This is quite similar with Filipino adobo but with the use of beef tenderlion strips , onions tomatoes , fried potatoes with fresh chopped parsley leaves and parsley – The main dish can be shared between 3 to 5 people. Php 420

Pollo Entero

The whole chicken is marinated with special herbs and slowly cooked rotisserie style . There is an option of adding rice or mashed potatoes – This whole chicken can be shared between 4 to 6 people . ONE of the BEST Sellers and Signature Dish – Php 590without side dish and Php 650 with side dishes.

Chorizo Al Plato

A great appetizer which consist of grilled chorizo with garlic served with side dish . This is good for 3 to 5 people sharing Php 260

Alfajores

Alfajores is a shortbread cookies with Dulce de Leche filling . The texture and taste is almost like the uraro biscuits with softer texture . This is best accompanied with coffee , tea or chocolate. Php 65 per 3 pieces

Pie de Limon

This is a Peruvian pie stuffed with key lime – Php 145 per slice

Tres Leche

Sponge cake with creme topping soaked in three kinds of milk. Php 165 per slice

The New Balance Dress|Ray-ann Gutierez

This outfit should be part of my Slim’s Fashion and Arts School Exhibition of Students Work post,but I’m so in love with this outfit that I want it to have a separate post on my bloggy! An outfit made by my favorite designer of the night Ray-ann Gutierez. Even though I’m a boy I would still wear it!

Ray-ann’s creation is inspired by the space age look of the 60′s,and today’s popularity of sneakers as a focal point of dressing, he created a terno that is reflective of the rebellious spirit of the 60s.

See his work at SM Megamall Fashion Hall from Oct.9 to Oct.13 10am - 10pm.

Slim’s Exhibition of student Work 2015

SM Megamall Fashion Hall is proving to visitors why these young fashion designers can proudly say they went to the same school as Martin Bautista, Michael Cinco, Joey Samson, Ezra Santos, and Oliver Tolentino.

The best graduating students of Slim’s Fashion and Arts School are putting their works on display from Oct.9-13, 10am-10pm.

Viewers can look forward to the results of the students’ final exams: the terno and the wedding gown. Some designers have combined the two, while another has come up with a winter terno.

REYMUND CLARIDAD

Reymund is the luckiest of all the students who joined the exhibit.He only presented one piece to the school’s president Mark Higgins, but Sir Mark chose another one of his works which is his first project in dressmaking 3 that he customized called The Lamp Dress, that’s a hundred thumbs up for you reymund so proud of you! Plus Miss Tessa Prieto totally loved both of his work!

KAREN GAIL OLANO

A brocade dress inspired by different 60s fashion styles and silhouettes and the fashion of today’s modern era.

MARIO SANTOS

A leather coat and neoprene swimsuit inspired by the song Yellow Submarine by The Beatles that represents isolation.

IVIANE SANTOS

A colored plastic cape sewn with metal curtain holes and neon neoprene dress pants inspired by the space age era and 1960s plastic clothing.

ROMANIKKO RALPH

In the 60s the worls was pretty much fascinated by exotic places like India.He used Indian elements like pastels,loud colors and also indian architecture like the Taaj Mahal. A brocade kimono blouse sewn with beaded Bugle beads and sequins and briolette and acrylic crystals

GLYNN ALLEY MAGTIBAY

A gazar top and brocade dress accessorized with stones and beads to complete the look that’s inspired by Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

ARIANNE SEVILLA

The dress resembles a flower,symbolizes the flower power era of the 60s. The waves of this light fixture also reminds her of the psychedelic waves of the 60s graphic print and one Danish designer’s Verner Panton’s “total environtments” (where covered in an Op Art-Inspired pattern) for the Humburg Headquarters of Spiegel Magazine in 1969,the center which was a vividly colored cave-like space for reclining. Alsshe wanted her dress to be personal. The choice of the color swatches was also to reminisce the cattleya orchid her late father used to have in his garden.

ANJ ONG

A Gazar tailored jacket and a box pleated mikado beaded skirt inspired by the movie G.I. Joe.

YVONNE TABANAO

A terno made of dip dyed jusi cut outs, her terno was inspired by Chicago Picasso. She was also inspired by one of the most iconic models in the 60s Twiggy which she make Twiggy’s face as a beadwork in her terno.

A gazar shift dress embelished with gold safety pins.Inspired by the mini skirt revolution of Mary Quant and in the late 60s by how some designers like Paco Rabanne and Pier Cardin used metal materials in creating clothes.

ALENA LITTLE

Neoprene baby doll shift dress sewn with embroidery and embelishments that’s inspired by the Mode Era and Twiggy.
