What happened to campy horror + teen horror it's just not the same as it was before. Like even modern remakes don't encapsulate the pure stupidity coming from teenagers while still making it eerie. I'm very glad Supermassive games has yet to put a younger child into any of the games yet. the closest they got was Megan/Mary in Little Hope. Like from my experience with horror, it's HAUNTING when you have a child at risk. And not really in the good way. A playable CHILD would just be horrifying to play, plus they wouldn't have the charm that the adults/teens have.
