Just a kid from Brooklyn

I was just a sickly kid from Brooklyn for a long time. Then the war came...and then the super serum and fighting Hydra and the Nazis and getting frozen in the arctic circle. Now? Now I'm fighting the good fight to help the little guy as best I can  ==I have seen Avengers Endgame!==

Cyron nods. He thought the name of the driver was a little strange. Though he didn’t question it too much. Trusting Steve in that moment since it seemed that everything was okay. Standing up fully, helping Steve to his feet since his balance was still a little off. 

At the question, he felt a weight in his chest. Part of him just wanted to get away. He hadn’t wanted to cause any further issues for Steve. Especially not bringing Hydra right too him. Though, he had known that Steve wouldn’t just let him slip away. He understood, that even if he couldn’t fully remember the blond man, he was someone of importance. 

“Yes, we’re coming.. we just need to be careful.” Cy spoke up in softer voice. Grabbing Grant’s hand with his free limb, helping Steve into the car before slipping in after him. He took the bag off of Grant’s shoulder. Patting the open space next to him. 

Cyron caught the confused gaze that came from Mr. Happy. “It’s.. not easy to explain, but, Grant is a good man.” Assuring him once the doors of the car had been closed. Protected behind tinted windows. Once the car finally began to move, he did relax a little. Though he made a mental note of each turn, stop, and intersection that they crossed. Making an invisible map in his head. He had known the city, and he knew where Hydra’s main base was located. Currently, he was just making sure that they weren’t headed here.

The Last Mission

Steve was more than happy to be helped into the car, especially after Bucky had confirmed that he and Grant were coming with him.

Once they were all inside the car and it had started driving, Steve had relaxed quite a bit and was leaning back into the seats of the car.

Since they were in Washington DC, it was going to be some time before they got back to New York and he knew that, and Happy? He was driving the route towards the highway to head down towards the Tower.

“It’s going to be a while before we get to New York,” Happy says as he glances in the rear view mirror to get a look at them.

“When Tony heard about the manhunt for Cap there, he sent me down to be able to help him and Natasha with a ride if it was needed. I was staying at a hotel when I got the word to go get you lot, it’s how I was able to get over to help so quickly. If you guys want, we can stop at a hospital halfway to the Tower and get treatment for Steve,” Happy says, glancing to Steve, who was half dozing just being in the car.

Grant had gotten comfortable during the time they’d been in the car as well, and yet, he wasnt paying attention to where they were being driven, he was jsut enjoying not being in the sewers... though when Happy mentioned the stop for a hospital trip for Steve, he looked towards the other Super soldier and bit his lips.

“Well....stopping there or in New York is equally as bad, right? Hydra could come to any place we go to. Couldn’t we go to Stark’s Tower and have him treated there, where we know there will be no Hydra personnel?”

Steve blinked a bit, forcing himself to focus a bit more and he sighed a bit, “I...am happy with whatever makes you all happy. You’re all more with it than I am at the moment.”

The Last Mission 

Cyron stayed hidden behind the dumpster. Rolling his eyes as Steve complained about the smell. Looking over at Grant, nodding a little. “Yes. We’ll be okay. We just need to wait this out a little longer. “We’ll get medical attention and all of that jazz soon enough.” 

When the car did pull up, a somewhat big man stepped out. “Rogers?” The stranger called. Cyron took a quick glance. “Is that man familiar to you?” Whispering to Steve as he figured that the oldest blond would know if it was safe or not.

“Yeah. That’s Happy. Tony’s driver and head of security.” Steve says as he grins and gets up and starts to walk towards the familiar man. He knew that they’d be safe now. He was sure of it. He just...wanted to get somewhere safe where he could pass out and not have to worry about being on the run...but he did pause and look back towards Bucky and Grant.

“You two are coming...right?” He asks, looking at Bucky and at Grant, who is looking towards Bucky, not sure what the other wanted to do. He was sure they had just been going along with all of this so Steve could get helped... though part of him did want to go somewhere they wouldn’t be hurt by Hydra...

“It’s up to you...” Grant says softly to Cyron, “Where you go, I go.” He says as he smiles at Cyron.

Cyron didn’t respond to the question as he didn’t view his injuries as much of a problem. He’d lived through much worse. A few bullets in his thigh was nothing to him. He’d only been worried about the one in his hip, which he’d removed and he could feel his wounds already healing. Knowing that the injury to his thigh was already beginning to seize the bullet shells out of his skin on it’s own. 

“I’m fine.” Was all he could think to say in the moment. “Not that one, Steve.” He stopped at a different ladder soon enough. Tugging off his coat, he handed it off to Grant. “Here, you need to look less obvious because we don’t know if someone if lurking out there. I will check. If it’s clear and if there’s a space to hide, then we will go up. If not, we’ll wait till Steve’s friend gives us the arrival call.” 

Shrugging a little before he began to climb up the ladder. “It works and.. I didn’t need to deal with you. You weren’t the mission task.. Also, I’m sorry about your friend. I knew of him. But, I can’t do much about it when my mind isn’t in my control.” Quieting down while he got closer to the top of the exit. Pushing the sewer hatch up enough to look around. He spotted a couple of large dumpsters near by that they could hide behind. 

“It’s clear. Let’s go.” Pushing the sewer hatch up and out of the way before he had climbed up and out, Tugging the dumpster closer before he knelt down, waiting on Steve and Grant to surface.

Grant just raised his brow before he sighed and proceeded to put the jacket on that Cyron gave him and he made sure to climb after Steve, making sure that he had their back as they were climbing up the right ladder, since Steve had needed to be redirected. Grant was just...frustrated that Cyron didn’t seem to think his wounds were important enough to look at. It always frustrated him when Cyron got like this.

“My friend? What frie--ooh you mean Sam? Oh he’ll be fine. I only really just met him a short time ago, though. I’d call him more of an acquaintance than a friend. You’re my friend, Bucky.” Steve says as he  goes quiet upon watching Bucky head topside to scout. Steve and Grant would then both climb up and hide in the shelter of the dumpsters once Cyron gave the all clear, Steve making a face at the terrible smells coming from them, Grant looking amused by it before he looked to Cyron.

“So the alley that Steve’s Avenger friend is going to meet us down...how long until they get there?” Grant asks even as Steve shifts a bit, wincing as he looks to Grant. “Don’t worry, they should be here pretty quick,” Steve says as he tries to find a good spot to watch the street, “Especially considering Tony tends to like to power up things that really don’t need the extra power.”

Cyron  nods while closing the bag before pulling it over his shoulder. He did know the underground system fairly well, but, now he had to guess a little since Rogers’ hadn’t given him a precise answer. Shrugging a little when Grant had swatted at him. “I’m fine, still in one piece. i just figured it wouldn’t be good for it to attempt to heal over.” 

Well, I’m definitely not telling him..                                                 about the bullets in my thigh.. I’ll just wait till I’m alone..                                                For five minutes..

“Well, the original plan was.. to get out of the united states as soon as possible because we’re currently sitting in a Hydra hub.” Mentioning while he glanced at the number code near the ladder, making a mental note of where they were.

 “The next alley grate should be east, approximately fifty or so feet from here.” Shooting a glance back at Steve before he began walking. “How else did you think I got away from you earlier this month when you tried hunting me down?”

“You’re hurt?” Steve asked now, having picked up on Bucky’s words, frowning a bit with worry, “Then come on, we need to get out of here quickly.... and Bucky, why am I not surprised you used this system to get away?” He shook his head a little before he went over to Bucky and looked him over for a moment before he went to the ladder.

“Let’s go.” He says before he heads up the ladder and towards the cover leading into the system.

Grant eyed Bucky as well at his explanation before he sighed, “You really should take care of yourself.” He mutters softly

 “You care more about others than yourself, when you really should care about yourself more in some instances.” He says to the man he considered a mentor and brother. The man he could snap out of his programming, and the man who worked so hard to help them both be free...

But even after saying that, he went for the ladder as well, wanting to get out of this place as soon as he could as well, his only pair of civilian clothes currently being used at the moment.

Cyron quieted down, remaining in his spot on the floor while he was toying with the torn fabric that had rested against his side. Quietly digging a stray bullet out of his side. He knew that he’d be fine once it was out of his hip. Barely even wincing while he worked the bullet out of the already healing wound. 

Listening to the short phone call with the individual that was called Jarvis. He hadn’t known entirely what it was, but he assumed that himself and Grant would be going along with Steve. The mention of the alley way seemed safe enough. Climbing to his feet to grab the bag. Walking over to Steve, silently picking the tablet back up. 

“So, which alley way are we headed for? The closest one is a couple blocks over from where we are at the moment.” Asking as he trusted that info wouldn’t be too much to figure out for Steve. 

“We’re going for that closest one,” Steve says as he let Bucky take the tablet back and he slowly got up, letting out a harsh huff of air before he looked around, “We just need to find a way out of this place first.” He says as he starts looking for ladders leading up to man hole covers and the like.

Grant looked to Cyron and blinked a bit in surprise, then went over to him and swatted at the other’s metal arm, giving him a look. One that was very clearly a ‘what the hell?! Why didn’t you say something?!’ kind of look he often gave the other when they couldn't speak said things aloud.

“Let’s get going, and you and I...we will hopefully be able to stay with Stark. That...is what we plan to do, at least for a little bit, right?” He asks Cyron

“Fine, Blondie.” Cyron mutters, figuring that if Steve was going to use the old name, then he could just use the name he had nicknamed the captain from his nightmares. “You’re lucky that it worked.. because you look awful and I’m sorry for that.” 

A sigh escaped him, holding his hand out for the tablet. “How are you an avenger when you don’t even know how gps works? Open the app for that, figure out what street we’re on and then call your pick up. Just.. be subtle about myself and Grant.” Shrugging a little. “There’s no sim card in that thing and it’s encrypted. It’s not trackable.” 

“Half of what you said is still beyond me.” Steve says even as he tries to figure out how to open the gps and after a bit of a struggle, Grant went over and silently pointed at it, quietly helping Steve so Steve didn’t have to keep bugging Bucky. 

Once they saw what street they’re on, Grant backed up and out of sight of the tablet and let Steve start up the call, and he moved over to Bucky and simply waited as the call went through to JARVIS, and Steve started to explain that he needed a extraction and that he’s injured, and told the AI where he could be found and finished it with “A car with tinted windows and plenty of room would be great. I’m currently hiding out underground.”

“Understood, Captain. I will call you back when the driver is in the alleyway you are closest to.” Steve nodded then hung up the call and leaned back a bit

“I’m sorry for snapping at you Grant. This day was going to be stressful regardless of how it ended up working out. But we’re alive and away from Hydra. Just with.. a very important person on our hands and we can’t really go out in broad daylight right now.” Cyron’s voice softened a little but he was still on edge. Running a hand through his hair. Looking from Grant to Steven. 

Pushing himself off the floor, walking over to the bag that Grant had. He dug through it till he found the tablet. Unlocking it and looking for a Wifi signal. Then he walked over to Steve and dropped it into his lap. “Use a calling app. Just don’t try anything stupid.” He couldn’t help that he was cold about it, he felt a little trapped in that moment. Stepping back over to Grant where he sat down beside him. Quietly rubbing his shoulder. “We’re going to be okay. I won’t let anyone get to you..” Murmuring in a genuine pitch. 

Glancing over at Steve when the other man had called him ‘bucky’. Clearing his throat a little. “That name doesn’t bring up anything good.. I use the name Cyron. I have for a few decades now.” 

“You name only brings good memories to me, so I’m sorry but...I’m not going to stop using it. I’m just that stubborn, besides. It got you to talk out on the bridge when I said your name,” He says as he gives Bucky a cheeky smile before he cleared his throat a bit. “So tell me. How are they supposed to know where we are? I don’t even know where we are. Are they going to be able to track the call?” He asks, clearly still new to all this technology in this day and age.

“I know...I know,” Grant just looks sad before he looks to Steve and then chuckles a bit at how he is being a stubborn little shit about the B-name. It was something he always wanted to say and be stubborn about too but Cyron was always so scared of something happening to him cause of that name that he just didn’t want to upset him.

“What was I supposed to do? Just let him die?” Cyron questions, looking at Grant. “He would have died in the explosion if we hadn’t of jumped. He needs medical attention sooner than later. We’ll figure it out.” His voice had become blunt as he was tired and he just wanted to make sure that Steve’s wounds wouldn’t be left to infection. 

  Sighing while burying his face into his hands. He hated that he couldn’t just do things the way he knew would work short term. Falling silent for a moment. “Fine, what’s your idea Steve? Walk you out into broad daylight bloodied and exhausted? Won’t people question how and why you got away from the crash site so quickly. Besides, I know that you’re more than likely not going to leave me alone anytime soon.” 

“I am not saying i wanted you to let him die I’m just...” He sighs and looks like he just wants to sink into the floor and disappear even as he ended up sitting down and leaning against the wall, “I’m just tired and stressed.” He says softly, causing Steve to look at the clone for a moment with a bit of pity even as Grant spoke again.

“I just was not expecting him to be here with us. I don’t like unexpected things thrown at me.” He says, sounding defeated.

“Well, look at me, I’m in civilian clothes now and it’s not...as obvious on a first glance? my stumbling could be explained as me being drunk or something. The problem is now you two. Especially Grant, who is wearing my SHIELD uniform,” He points out. “Look, all you really need to do, is call Stark Tower. Call there, get someone to come down to us, and bring a car, then we can manage from there.” He looked to Bucky now, “You’re going to have to do that. Of the three of us, you won’t be recognized right away.” Steve says as he offers Bucky a tired smile, “I wouldn’t leave you alone if I we didn’t have a choice...I just got you back, Bucky I don’t want to lose you again.”

Cyron let Grant help the other man into a clean set of clothing. He knew that it wasn’t the easiest but he didn’t stop Grant from helping. Glad that his protégé was still so kind, even if he had a sharp tongue attitude. Thinking as he sat back down on the floor after going through the bag. He had pulled out one set of food rasions for Grant and Steve to eat. He wasn’t hungry in the moment but knew that the other two could use the energy. 

“I could create a distraction.. but, Steve might not be happy with it. Just.. hear me out. If I caused an accident, it would divert the public’s attention long enough to get you and Grant out of here and headed towards the tower. I could easily round back and meet up with the two of you.” 

“Look, even I’m not happy with that,” Grant says as he frowns at Cyron, “The point of all of this? It was originally to keep you and me out of sight of Hydra. You’re the one that convinced Rogers here to jump out of that helicarrier and now we have to bring him along because of that, because neither one of us is actually heartless enough to just leave him there to be found by someone.” Grant says as he lets out a huff of air through his nose.

“Thanks for not leaving me there, by the way,” Steve chimes in even as Grant now looks to him, “And Bucky...we can’t cause an accident cause it’ll expose you. We just...keep moving around as best we can and if you have to ditch me then do it...but he--” And he looks to Grant, “--will get attention too. You can’t stop attention from being brought onto us no matter what you do, so we need to deal with it and keep moving.”

The Last Mission || Grant&Steve

Cyron closed his eyes for a moment, knowing it wouldn’t be the easiest to get both Grant and Steve to the tower without someone noticing. Thinking as he tried to come up with a feasible plan. A way to get the three of them from one city point to another. 

Slowly lifting his head as he heard the two bickering a bit. “Cut it out. I don’t feel like kicking both your asses and one of you is already injured.” Muttering as he looked back at the tablet. “We’re about a half mile from the tower. Why, do you have an idea? I was thinking of putting Steve in civilian clothes so..at the very least Hydra won’t notice him. We should have another outfit to spare.” 

Disabling the connection to the tablet as he didn’t want to leave it running for too long. Just in case Hydra was looking for them. Handing it off to Grant before looking through the bag. “I guess it’s a good thing that you and Grant are practically the same size. How do you feel about..sitting up Steve?”

“We’re not bickering,” Grant says as he sits up and starts to dig through the bag, “I’m just pointing out that he’s not funny,” Grant says with a smirk as Steve just quietly facepalms.

“Just thinking of sitting up makes me wince,” Steve admits, “But I think I can manage it,” he says as he slowly sits up, looking like he’s in intense agony for a moment even as Grant hands him some clothes.

“Right...” Steve mutters as he takes the clothes and then gets up, and with Grant’s help gets to a sheltered corner of their brief hideaway to change into the clothes. It took him a while cause of his injuries, but he eventually came out in a hoodie and jeans and with Grant’s help made it back to the couch.

“Ugh...okay. Now what?” He asks as he looks to Cyron, “I can barely walk on my own right now, Grant would have to drag me around...”

The Last Mission || Grant&Steve

Cyron had stood in the east end of the room that he’d brought Steve and Grant to keep a connection to the free wifi that he’d accessed. Keeping an on Steve as he felt a twinge of guilt in his chest; due to condition that demanded medical attention. Catching sight of Grant laying down on the floor. He didn’t question it as he imagined that his protege was more than exhausted. He didn’t mind if the well trained asset rested. 

Nodding while he typed the numbers into the google voice number that he’d quickly set up, as the tablet didn’t have a registered number. Pacing as he spoke on the phone with the secretary that he’d been connected to as it seemed that Tony Stark was not avalible at the given time. “I can’t just drop him off at a hosptial. He’s demanded to be treated by the doctor at the facility. You have my word that I do not desire him or any one he’s close to harm. We will be arriving in an hour.” Ending the call as he sat down, his face burying into his hands.

“To be fair...” Steve says as he winces, having shifted and agitated his injuries, “I didn’t demand that I be treated by the Doc that Tony has... I just said that the Doc will need to be there.” He says as he smiles at Cyron. It’s a pained smile, but it’s one all the same.

“You know things are going to be okay, right? We’re super cockroaches,” He chuckles then groans at the pain the laugh causes.

“You really should stop talking...it means you won’t laugh at your own bad jokes so much,” Grant says as he glances to Steve, who scowled at his clone and pouted a bit before he looked to Cyron.

“Do you know how far out from the tower we are, Cy?” Grant asks, seeming to have caught his breath, but he clearly wasn’t up for actually sitting up just yet.

The Last Mission || Grant&Steve

Cyron had helped Steve and Grant into the sewer before taking the bag, he had tightened the straps and wore it on his shoulders like a backpack. Keeping the other two soldiers behind himself. Knowing that if it came down to it, he would be the one defending both of them. Glancing back at the two them as they were walking through knee deep water. 

“Just keep up and stay quiet. I’ll get us out of here as soon as I can.” Mentioning as he knew it wasn’t an easy situation. “Grant, you are to protect Steve if we come across any Hydra agents down there. It should be a rarity..since they definitely saw me fall with colliding quinjets. Same with Steve..you’re the only one that they might be after now.” Explaining as he kept walking through the tunnels. 

Luckily, they didn’t come cross anyone that would have put up a fight. They did come cross a homeless man that thought he was dreaming when he saw two Captain Americas’ a little salute and they were on their way. Out of the sewers and quickly into an abandon building that Cyron had been to before. He cleaned off the couch. 

“Lay Steve down on the couch. He needs to rest. There’s normal clothing in the bag if either of you feel like getting changed.” Speaking while he pulled the tablet out of the bag, connecting it to the cafe wifi that was near by them. He walked over to Steve. “Do you remember any numbers of your friends?” Asking as he needed that out of Steve in order for any of them to get help. Even if he was nervous that Steve’s friends might turn on him and Grant. He knew it was the only option short of knocking out Steve and dropping him off at a hospital. But, he got the feeling that Steve wouldn’t be happy with that outcome.

Grant nodded at Cyron’s words, glad that he’d echoed his suggestion about the protection of Steve.

Grant was the main person really doing much of anything when it came to him and Steve following Bucky. Though Grant really couldn’t complain, he could hear how Steve’s breath hitched every few minutes from the pain he’s in, and he knew the other man was trying to reduce the amount of time Grant pretty much had to drag him along but...well, Steve was clearly just going on autopilot, the first super soldier seeming to have zoned out during their sewer adventure.

When the got to the abandoned building, Grant set Steve down on the couch carefully and then smiled, the younger man relieved to be free of his Steve shaped burden, and he went and just laid down on the ground. “Mmm...right the numbers...It’s impossible for me to forget. My mind won’t let me. I’d remember stuff for ages...” Steve mumbles before he takes in a deep breath, “Here’s Stark’s number,” He says as he says the number out loud, “Tell him I’ve been injured and that the Avengers Doc will need to be there for when we eventually make our way over.”

Cyron nods a little, the tension in his stomach beginning to settle slowly as he came to understand that Stark was no longer an alley to Hydra. He had been concerned of that. Though, he did trust Steve’s word. Looking around before pulling both men back into the forest ridge a little more. Just to avoid anything that may be lurking around. 

He could see the look of concern on Steve’s face. “Grant was created to take over what I am–was..but, I did all I could to get him out of Hydra before that could happen. No one deserves to be put through that type of hell..and, I started to value my life once I was assigned to training him. He hasn’t been put through half of the things I’ve done and gone through..his soul isn’t tainted, Steve.” Explaining as he didn’t want Grant to be viewed as evil. 

Looking back towards Grant, sighing slightly. “Fair point. I suppose our back up plan is the sewer system. I still know it like the back of my hand and we could get a signal without being spotted that way.” It wasn’t the cleanest plan, but he had relied on the underground systems in the past to get around the city in ease. “I know there’s a path that leads directly to Stark Tower..”

“I understand, Bucky,” Steve says as Grant helps him get up, but winces again. The drop into the water from so high up had not been kind to him. He knew he’d survive but it was still extremely painful when you’re not actually diving into it and just land flat along the surface of the water...

“We...might as well go through the sewers then, I’m already wet,” He says as Grant could be seen putting the tablet back into his bag and slinging it over one shoulder before he fully devoted his time to helping Steve stay upright, putting one of Steve’s arms around his shoulder and then wrapping another arm around Steve and under his other arm. Steve looked like he really wanted to let out a slew of curses from the way he grimaced at being manhandled by Grant, but he resisted, instead he seemed to quietly count to ten before focusing his gaze on Bucky.

“Well. I hope you are able to keep Hydra agents off our back while we’re traveling, if they manage to track you two, you’ll be the only one capable of fighting them in a moment’s notice since your protege here will be busy dragging me along.”

The Last Mission || Grant

A sigh escaped from his lips as he listened to what Nat had done. He hadn’t seen her nearly two decades and this was how she greeted him. Spilling everything that kept him hidden. “He looks like you..so, he could be mistaken for you..I guess that’s the silver lining..” 

Cyron was hesitant of going from one massive facility owned by a billionaire to another huge company owned by another billionaire. Along with the fact that Stark industries used to make and sell weapons to Hydra. It put a pit in his stomach. “Stark..he’s not still..corrupt is he? His company used to work with Hydra, under the table.” Murmuring as he put his arm around Steve to help him keep his balance. Though he noticed that the one that the world loved was terribly wounded. “Grant’s got a tablet on him..think we could get close enough to an internet connection and get you help?” Requesting as he felt guilty for how banged up the blond was. 

Getting to a narrow enough point of the river bank where Grant could cross without soaking the bag. “Hey..kid, you still got that tablet, right? I know it doesn’t have data on it, but it still runs off wifi. We could get close to a tower or something, get Steve some help. Steve, meet Grant, the man I’ve kept safe and trained for the past decade. Grant, this is Steve, a fellow from my past. And this is the weirdest day of my life.” He chuckles in a tired manner. “There’s clothing in that bag too..we should probably get changed, and help Steve get cleaned up for now.” 

“Tony’s....completely scrubbed his father’s company and his life.. He rebuilt the company from the ground up a few years back. I’m very sure Hydra isn’t in it, and if any spies were there, they’d get thrown out quickly after this.” Steve winces as he  Grant is quick to run over and take the tablet out of the bag.

Wow, this was a weird day. He was literally looking at his twin, and he...wasn’t sure how to feel about it, honestly as he nods to Bucky and then his eyes met Steve’s, both looking at each other for a long time.

“Huh....he has darker hair,” Steve says even as Grant cracks a smile and salutes the Cap before he leans over and helps lift Steve up.

“A tower? I’m more worried about being seen in public dragging him around. You say to get somewhere with wifi, but we will be spotted before then. So what do you propose as an alternative then, Cyron?” Grant asked, even as Steve blinked a bit at the german accent in the other’s voice. Then again, Steve knew it couldnt be helped, considering the clone or...whoever, whatever he is was raised under Hydra’s care.

Cyron made sure that Steve was breathing, offering him a hand as he pulled him to his feet. He did spot the other blond dressed exactly the same as Steve on the other side of the river bank with a duffel bag. Looking back at Steve as he heard his question. “Get out of the states..we’ve been saving up money, weapons, you name it..I’ve probably thought of it in that bag he’s got.” He had considered leaving Steve there, but he knew it wasn’t that easy. 

Grant was family to him, Steve was a memory of the past. But so much more than that now. “As long as we stay out of the sight lines..we should be able to get to him, and we should..sooner than later before one of your people mistake him as you. He’s bright, but he’s not the best at lying.” Considering it for a moment. “If he and I..did stick around, I don’t know where we’d go..your redheaded friend just leaked every record on me. Hydra kept him a secret..because he was supposed to replace me. But he doesn’t want to continue on what Hydra has planned..and neither do I.”  

“Natasha leaked everything, which includes information about him. Neither one of you will be able to hide out anywhere. He’s got my face which means people will recognize him instantly.” Steve groaned as he sat up.

“Take him to Stark if you want him to really be safe. Tony Stark is a tolerable friend and he protects those that need it. As long as you’re honest with him, he won’t bug you too much save for when he’s bored,” Steve says as he chuckles a bit, “That and if he really is as innocent as you say...I know everyone there would love to do to him like what they’ve done to me and introduce him to all sorts of movies and modern references.”
