-techno and wilbur and dream and sapnap and george and schlatt and sam and minx and eret and punz are juniors in college
-quackity and karl and niki and connor and jack and puffy and fundy and ponk are sophomores in college
-tommy does ballet and contemporary dance.
-tubbo is the only one who knows this out of Wilbur, Techno, Phil, Fundy, Minx, Schlatt, George, Sapnap, and Sam and Punz and Eret and Ponk
-quackity, karl, niki, dream, and puffy are also dancers at the same studio
-ranboo and purpled and connor and jack are backstage and work with the studio as a part time job
-tubbo hangs out but doesn’t work at the studio because he has a part time job with Sam at an animal shelter
-tubbo knows because tommy told him
-george and sapnap know dream dances but don’t know tommy does
-dream does hip hop mostly, but can dance ballet
-quackity does hip hop (bonus, he occasionally does baile folklorico in a dress)
-puffy does jazz and ballet
-tommy spends a lot of time at the studio
-he’s really good at dancing; their top ballet an contemporary dancer
-tubbo totally learned a bit of ballet to impress tommy and they occasionally ballroom dance for fun (platonic ofc)
-anyways, sbi have no idea where tommy randomly goes during the weekdays after class
-they assume it’s a job, but he already has an internship with a film producer that he goes to on the weekends
-they don’t think too much of it because a lot of the others also have places to go and things to do outside of school
-one day tubbo let’s it slip that he’s going to a dance recital. he was talking to ranboo, connor, and purpled, (because they work backstage during recitals) but wilbur, techno, and phil overheard and decided to tag along
-tubbo awkwardly allows them to come with and then frantically tells tommy what happened after class
-tommy is a little freaked out but is overall resigned to them finding out. he thinks they’ll make fun of him
-when techno, phil, and wilbur arrive with techno, they realise this is the same studio where dream and niki dance
-they see dream, niki, puffy, karl, and quakcity dance as well
-tommy is the closing act
-they’re incredibly shocked when they see him on stage doing a mixture of contemporary and ballet, dancing absolutely perfectly
-after the recital, tubbo always waits up for tommy and the rest of the dancers and back-stagers (they usually go out to a celebratory ice cream trip, tubbo is always included)
-tommy cringes a little when he sees them, and is kinda shy waiting for their reaction
-they, of course, are extremely impressed and tell them how incredible he was up there
-the other dancers obviously invite phil, techno, and wilbur to go with them for ice cream and tells wilbur and techno to call up the others to come with
-so it’s a group of tommy, tubbo, ranboo, purpled, phil, techno, wilbur, dream, sapnap, george, schlatt, sam, minx, eret, punz, quackity, karl, niki, connor, jack, puffy, fundy, and ponk that all just,,, walk into an ice cream parlor
-about 23 college students, three of them in suits (the backstagers), six of them in dance outfits, four of them in nice clothing (sbi and tubbo), and the rest in comfort clothing
-tommy doesnt stop smiling all night
CHARACTER DESIGNS FOR THE DANCERS:
Dream: for ballet he wears black when dancing, and has green dance shoes and a green lace that goes up his arm. when showing up to practice, he usually wears a green crop-top hoodie that he takes off when dancing. he has that edgy look of "obviously evil villian" type shit where he likes wearing dark colors while dancing. for hip hop, he wears the mask and his green hoodie, with black scene jeans.
Niki: she keeps her outfits simple, preferring to have a pale pink or white attire; usually the typical tutu (because ballet) and a leotard. for practice, she ditches the tutu skirt and wears bike-shorts. it’s her hair and makeup that make her stand out. she matches her makeup to the song she’s dancing to and her hair is usually a dyed color and done up with pins and jewels
Quackity: he primarily does hip hop and wears a baggy t-shirt tucked into looser jeans on stage. he typically wears shorts and a long sleeve shirt at practice. he likes adding chains to the jeans he wears when performing. when dancing baile folklorico, which he doesn’t do often but he does, he wears the traditional dress (as it is a Mexican traditional dance that emphasize folk culture and have ballet characteristic, typically danced by women).
Puffy: she typically wears only a bralet and leggings while dancing, on or off stage. it changes in color, but it’s typically a purpled or blue bralet and black leggings for practice, and a little more showy-costume like for actual jazz preformances and wears the traditional skirt for ballet
Karl: he likes where multiple different colors, (like his hoodie). sometimes though, he’ll have one of those moments on stage where the dancer changes really quickly and his colorful dance outfit will turn to grey scale. he wears black sparkly tap shoes because yes, and has a matching tap dance hat that he likes to wear because he thinks it’s Traditional with Spice
Tommy: he prefers wearing red and white, duh (tubbo gifted him red dancing shoes). he wears his dance attire underneath bagging clothing to hide it from other people but he's usually in the studio and he doesn't have time to change. he has a red and white body suit that’s long sleeves and he wears black leggings with it. he wears black skin tight fingerless gloves as well. he sometimes where’s red laced sleeves underneath a white dance shirt instead of the body suit, it depends on the dance he’s performing
