HEADCANON ~ charlie & tommy

Regarding Tommy’s time as a ranger; Charlie found all his suits to be lame except for the White Ranger & Black Dino Ranger simply because the color green reminded him of veggies & also Liv likes the Green Ranger & Charlie had a mindset where he can’t like the same thing his lame certified dweebo sister liked & the both times his dad was a red ranger; Charlie didn’t think he had cool powers. 

He, however, loves the Dragonzord & a few times went as the Zord for Halloween. Kim & Tommy both had a flute disguised as the Dragon Dagger to ‘call’ him back whenever he was done getting candy from a house.

your archetype is the master.

(disclaimer: the master archetype is not a reflection of what a horrible person you are. ie: jyn erso and mary talbot are both extremely intelligent and driven people because they use their traits for good--although mary's character can be quite ambiguous in the earlier seasons)

TRAITS: determined, obsessive, powerful, charismatic, confident, rash, challenging

the master is most commonly used to symbolize the antagonist, or the upper hand. while they aren't inherently the bad guys, their determination and ability to plan ahead can be twisted into something akin to evil. while that is a strong possibility in literature, their charisma and confidence can be utilized to create a strong idea and even an idea for the good side. many masters were the catalysts of revolutions, sparking hope and motivation. masters are extremely rash in their decisions, no matter how meticulous their planning may be. they tend to follow their instincts, and it's a good thing that they're so quick on their feet, otherwise, many of the challenges they face might have become uglier than expected.

//yes to all of this. (I also need Zach's response comment to happen. I need all of this.) Kim is completely okay with Liv and her lack of fashion excitement, but when Charlie starts showing an interest she is like YES. FINALLY SOMEONE TO APPRECIATE THE THING. and she still loves shopping with Liv and going to the mall and bonding, but with Charlie she is like a kid in a candy store because he actually lets her suggest things (that aren't just plaid or baggy).

Like Liv still has some fashionable things but she’s just more into science & trying to blend into the background. She like hates attention whereas Charlie thrives off it. Like Charlie will go to / watch fashion shows with Kim. He’s been most fashionable at school, girls & guys alike watch him in the halls & ask him for advice. All the attention, he loves especially because it’s something he & Kim can do together. Fashion is with them like Science is with Tommy & Liv.

( Charlie would just keep defending his dad but occasionally slip up & loves that everyone thinks his hair is rad. Tommy would just get like so defensive of his hair but like glad his son at least thinks he’s cool.

Zack leaned his upper half against the nearest wall, relaxed and unthreatened despite the practically visible steam funneling out of Charlie’s ears. The expression on the boy’s face mirrored that of Dr.Oliver’s when he was ‘angry with Zack’; it showed that kid meant business. And — as per usual, Zack didn’t care to take him seriously. ❝ Cool it, sunshine. If you wanted to know so badly, why didn’t you just ask your sister first? I might not be a reliable source, after all. ❞

He scoffs, rolling his eyes. As if he didn’t think about asking Liv. She ignores him during breakfast like she does every morning, nose in a book & drinking coffee. It amazed him at times to think they were related, they were so different. On different wavelengths. 

“Ha, like she’d actually tell me. Why don’t you just tell me why you’re always in my sister’s room. Always around her. What are your intentions & don’t tell me just studying. You don’t seem like the type to ‘just studying’.”

EVERYONE SAYING CHARLIE ROCKS THE LONG HAIR BETTER THAN TOMMY.

Like, when Kim pulls out old photos of Tommy & like almost everyone says Charlie has the better hair yet questions Charlie’s decision to grow his hair out. He’s just like, ‘I thought dad’s hair was cool.’ and watch as Liv perks up with, “and the reason his hair looks good is thanks to mum.” 

also, Charlie learns all about fashion & trends & things of that nature from Kim. Unlike Olivia, who just prefers Tommy’s old shirts, flannel, oversized jackets & jeans; he’s the fashion conscious sibling, who gets up at early hours to plan his outfits out & style his hair.
