(In all seriousness, however, Krishna–since he is an incarnation of Vishnu–is canonically pansexual and often genderfluid.)

Edit: The name of the plant is the Parijatha, otherwise known as “Night Flowering Jasmine” in English. It’s Krishna’s favorite flower!

Yuri on Ice panel at AX 2017

How many of you made it to the AX panel with Kubo and Yamamoto-sensei? Were any of you disappointed with how there was no mention of anything having to do with Victor and Yuuri’s relationship? If I hadn’t known better, based on what I heard at the panel I would not have had a clue there was anything gay in the show, let alone a male male romance. The fact that it was actively ignored was, to me, an act of gay erasure on the part of Crunchyroll staff who were moderating the panel and had pre selected questions. Not only that, the translator was horrendous, and there was no time left for an audience Q&A session at the end. What gets me the most down about all of this is that we finally have a sports anime with a canon queer relationship, which is part of what made it so damn popular, and that relationship was ignored. Gay erasure hurts.
