Summary:

The final medallion is within reach, but the night has no intention of making things easy. Memories buried for years and childhood tragedies finally kill Claire's momentum after another near-fatal incident. This is where it all comes crashing down.

Chapter 20 of my main Cleon fic is up! We've come so far and there's still so much to go, though things will be speeding up from here!

Side note: I procrastinated posting the link here because Tumblr didn't want to link it correctly no matter how many times I tried. Guess what worked the very first time I tried it today. The lack of consistency here drives me insane. Anyways, enjoy!

Links no worky

So I don't know if I'm being dumb, but I've been plagued by this issue for ages. Whenever I try to link something on Tumblr, it'll appear like this. It won't turn into it's own big box (not familiar with a term to describe it). I have to keep making a new thing to paste the link into, and if I'm lucky after several minutes of repeating it over and over, it'll finally appear properly. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but it's such a huge waste of time and mildly frustrating.

The Father’s Story is Now Done.

I'm writing my main Cleon fan story right now and NO I'm not supposed to get emotional while writing the emotional scenes otherwise I can't write them, dammit!

It's a sad scene in the game as well and I've been waiting to write this in my rewrite. I really hope I can do it justice. I know I get very critical of my own writing, but I feel like I reuse a lot of the same phrases and expressions. One of the characters is in a lot of pain and struggling to fight it. Conveying that in an interesting way and in detail is difficult, especially when the word count is higher than I'd hoped.

That specific chapter isn't set to release for another few weeks. I have heaps of time to attempt to get it right. I was just hoping that taking a break from staring at my document would've given me an answer (it did not).

Resident Evil: Veronica has turned me into a writing machine.

All I want to do now is write, lol.

These are 4,000 word chapters... I wrote this in three days.

Is that healthy? Probably not.

When writers block rears its ugly head will I regret not spacing this out a little more? Yeah.

That said, after another short-ish break from writing, I'm glad to be back. These two chapters are very important to Claire and Leon's characters with a lot of horror and action woven in.
