There is no point on trading for a defensive wing if you aren’t going to start or play her. Therefore who comes off the bench Jose? Your player in MVP conversations, your best defensive guard who can score at all 3 levels or your 8 year vet. This isn’t college where you by default give more to your juniors and seniors. Unless your vet is A’ja, Phee or Stewie you don’t need to cater to them.

I can’t give you the answer to that first part but I genuinely believe it’s bigger than Jose i feel like it’s either Curt or Greg that caters to Arike

The issues aren’t all on one player or coach. The wings have no paint defense and have a difference in playing styles causing disruption. Arike’s play style does not work for more than half this roster. Her fast, unorganized play style works for her and on teams without a system. Paige hates playing that way. She is methodical, she dissects the defense and lack of a better term she “plays with her food”. When she goes iso it’s to move the defender to get to her spot, it’s not throwing up a shot and hoping for the best. Jess plays best in a system, Azzi’s only ever played in a system. You saw it in last nights game where you had Arike style in the first half and Paige style in the second. The problem is we cannot wait to play Paige’s style and expect Jess and Azzi to get back into their flow on the fly. He has to pick one style and build it. If it’s not Paige’s style than trade her and Azzi. If it’s not Arike’s style trade her and get pcs that fit defensively. Calling for player trades isn’t always about hate, it’s about what pcs you can get that’s better for the team and moving them to a place that’s better for them.

I know Jose and Curt like to keep the locker room under control but we need some toughness on our team. I’m sure we can find players with good attitudes, are good teammates but on the court won’t back down against their opponents. We need one in the paint and another as a wing. I don’t want Paige or Azzi to play that role and Jess and Awak can’t in the paint.

can i say something and everyone not be on my ass 😬? i feel like yall take losses entirely too seriously. like yes, the game stresses me out too, i really want them to win and i want them to do this, this, and this as well but yall take it too far. like saying you hate players and talking shit and honestly saying down right disgusting things about real human beings because they didn’t play basketball the way you wanted them to is crazy to me. idk. it really is just a game. yeah it sucks, yeah some players could be doing better, yeah things need to be fixed but they’re still learning and adjusting. some of these players genuinely suck ass sometimes but coming for them as a person and their personality is weird. this is deadass the least compassionate and empathetic group of people i’ve ever seen and i’m not just talking about trolls either.
