Now that the election appears certain beyond any doubt, she wants to reopen bars and restaurants as soon as possible.Â
Of course.

Anyone know of a reliable way to learn Polish?
Thatâs for sure!! đ

Parler App On Brink Of Cancellation As Big Tech Purges Flynn, Powell And Others | ZeroHedge
ZeroHedge - On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero
BREAKING: Apple is currently threatening to ban Parler -- the free speech alternative to Twitter -- unless the service enacts draconian censorship policies demanded by left-wing Big Tech oligarchs, according to two sources familiar with Apple's threats.
Ha, I will admit I did not see that coming. We all bought phones from basically two crazy left wing companies, of course they would start banning free speech apps.
This is where the libertarian view starts to break down in my opinion, so now to get a free speech platform we need a right wing phone OS and a right wing app.
And a separate right wing internet to handle the traffic, since the current one could just block access to the main routers.
Did google already ditch it because...
Or am I just doing this wrong?
I couldn't find on play either but my account works for now
Parler, the alternative social media platform popular with conservatives, has been banned from the Google Play Store, Google told CNN Busine
If you already have it itâs still working. Hopefully theyâll release an APK or something on their website for those who donât already have it but want it.
Problem with an APK is that it makes it less accessable to the normal public. Only politically invested folks will go through the trouble to get the app. To truly compete with Twitter you need lots of casual users that won't get it if it's not on the stores.
There are alternate app installers for Android devices; making them mainstream is the issue.
Itâs really no more technologically bizarre than installing an app on your desktop computer outside the Apple or Microsoft store, but people arenât used to it. It requires a whole settings change.
We need to come together to support a clean, slick alternate installer and make simple, easy tutorials for it. We need to make installing apps through alternate means as second-nature as dismissing that popup from Microsoft that appears when you switch your default web browser away from Edge.

That too. Good thing all the millionaires and billionaires are on our side, right? right?
They did the same to Gab years ago. Iâm surprised Parlerâs lasted this long with the following it had, but they were probably afraid Trump would come after them. Not exactly an issue now.
Just to clarify, they suspended Trump because he said he wasnât going to the inauguration lmao
Wow. If I can paraphrase the last paragraph, "We know there is nothing there, but read between the lines using our insane world view"
Iâd think they wouldnât want Trump at the inauguration anyways. The president actually attracts an audience, unlike Biden. Arenât they trying to keep this inauguration on the DL?
Nuclear family means that the father/mother/child unit is the smallest complete unit of society not that households arenât meant to be intergenerational.
This always drove me crazy because people will say âwe need large extended families and not nuclear families!â and Iâm like How?? Do you think??? Large Extended Families happen??
Do 3 generation households count as nuclear families?
A three-generation household is made up of two nuclear families.
Hence the saying, âThe nuclear family is the building block of society.â
Yâall donât leave Legos alone and isolated on the floor unless youâre trying to murder someone via foot pain: each block is connected together and used to construct something greater.
Lawmakers in New York are pushing a bill that will make it illegal to purchase and possess bullet proof vests and force people to turn it in.
Lawmakers in New York have proposed one of the most tyrannical and utterly worrisome pieces of legislation weâve seen. They want to ban citizens from having body armor to protect themselves from bullets. As no one has ever beaten anyone to death with a bullet proof vest, the intentions behind this bill are clear and have no other purpose other than making it easier for government to kill citizens and harder for citizens to protect themselves from bullets.
New York, who has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, now wants to make it a misdemeanor and potential felony for people to purchase or possess a passive means of resistance to bullets.
Unlike other attempts to ban body armor like weâve seen in the past, this bill does not grandfather people in who already own it. In fact, the bill says that it must be turned over to the state for disposal, or you are guilty. After the passage of the bill, citizens will have 15 days to turn it in before they are declared criminals.
Assembly Bill A352 was introduced and cosponsored by David McDonough, Richard Gottfried, and Michael Montesano. It reads as follows (emphasis added.)
§ 270.21 Unlawful purchase or possession of a body vest. A person is guilty of the unlawful purchase or possession of a body vest when he or she knowingly and unlawfully purchases or possesses a body vest, as such term is defined in subdivision two of section 270.20 of this article. This section shall not apply to active law enforcement officers or those whose occupations require the use of body vests as determined by the department of state.
Unlawful purchase or possession of a body vest is a class A misdemeanor for a first offense and a class E felony for any subsequent offense.
§ 2.  Any person currently in possession of a body vest, as such term is defined in subdivision two of section 270.20 of the penal law, shall have 15 days from the effective date of this act to dispose of such body vest at any local or state law enforcement agency.
On the governmentâs website, they allow comments from citizens. Naturally, this piece of legislation is not being well received. One person pointed out the obvious, saying, âThe only legitimate reason for this bill is to make it easier for the State to murder the disarmed subjects of New York.â
âI cannot believe that such a bill would even be introduced in our state. The government here wants to control every aspect of our lives, even such a purely defensive item. Shame on our lawmakers for even considering such a bill,â another commenter wrote.
âThis is a vile and wicked bill! Body armor is the most passive form of self protection possible that a person can use and you want to take that away from law-abiding citizens?! You should be disgusted with yourselves for ever proposing such a thing!â another person pointed out.
We agree with all of them.
First they came for your guns, and called it âcommon-sense gun control.â
Now theyâre coming for your body armor.
There is no way that body armor can do harm. Its purpose is exclusively to protect you. Any government official advocating this should have to follow these restrictions, regardless of whether or not they pass.

That is a violation of the hippocratic oath and that doctor should lose their license to practice medicine.
Same thing happened to my mom. Three of my little sisters were prenatally (and incorrectly) diagnosed with Downs Syndrome, and each âdoctorâ did the same thing to her all three times.
Did she switch doctor's each time? If a doctor ever told me something like this that would would be the last time they saw me. OB/GYNs should have to disclose their abortion stance on their practice's website so prospective parents can know whether the doctor the plan on delivering their baby is cool with killing children.
We were in the military health system, so doctors switched all the time. I don't think we saw the same doctor for more then six months, though they did make some kind of effort to keep pregnant women with the same doctor through pregnancy...assuming the poor mama didnât have to up stakes and move across the country, of course.
For a long time I assumed it was just the military system pushing this because they knew the mothers were effectively without support in the area we lived in, being very remote and isolated. It is a twisted sort of compassion to suggest an alternative to raising a disabled and difficult child alone, even if that alternative is killing the child. The fact that itâs apparently a widespread and growing attitude is chilling, and I agree the mothers should be warned beforehand about it. Iâd no sooner go back to a doctor that supported abortion than Iâd do back to a doctor who recommended snapping my babyâs neck to stop her crying.

Itâs actually extremely common to incorrectly diagnose babies with Down syndrome- when in the womb still. In Iceland 4/5 women will abort their child if it is diagnosed with Downâs syndrome. But Iceland isnât unique, in Denmark, 98 percent of all children suspected of Down syndrome are terminated. In France, the number reaches 77 percent, and even in the United States, 67 percent are killed before they even have a chance. These tests arenât 100% accurate though! Some say itâs only 85% accurate and some tests are even below 60% but the medical industry doesnât have a consensus with how accurate they are, which is a problem. This isnât just with Downâs syndrome though. A couple in Oregon did the screenings and were told their child would have Edwards syndrome, they were told the best option would be to abort.. however, at 16 weeks and a second screening the reports came back that the first screening was wrong and their baby was going to be healthy. The doctors lied and said the test was 99% accurate. Any doctor that says this number at a screening is lying because there is no solid evidence that these tests ARE accurate and more stories are happening like the one above. ALSO, none of these tests are FDA regulated and the first solution a mother is handed is abortion. How many women have fallen prey to these doctorâs inaccurate tests? Doctors promoting eugenics is sick but falsely advertising a test as 99% accurate and mothers killing what may be a healthy child is evil- on the doctors part and on the industries that create these tests. To-be motherâs, DO YOUR RESEARCH BE INFORMED!!!!!
^^^
YES. Doctors are human - they make mistakes. Tests come back with false positives (or negatives!) and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Thereâs valid reasons to test for certain conditions under certain circumstances - if a particular disease runs in the family, if thereâs suspicion of something that can be fixed with prenatal treatment, etc. - but many doctors donât even test for Downs Syndrome specifically. I distinctly recall being with my mom in the ultrasound room when the doctor âdiagnosedâ one of my sisters, and it was based on measurements alone. She was told to abort my sister because, I dunno, my sisterâs legs were too short.
And even if you have some miraculously accurate test and it comes back positive, itâs horrifically discriminatory to advocate for someoneâs death because you believe that person may not live life up to your standards. Well said above - itâs pure eugenics.
