And a Greninja, which is so odd but fun to draw.
Been doing some Pokemon sketches from reference images for practice recently, it helps to draw everyday at least once.

Making a comic in MediBang
@rinkhet
This would make things so much easier, where can I download it?
It’s free! http://medibangpaint.com/en/
@gordobruce this might be a thing for you?
Medibang is awesome. If I had a better tablet I would use it far more often than I do. I have an OLD Wacom (like I’m talking late 90’s) with a drawing space the size of an index card. If I ever get a touchscreen tablet PC, I’ll definitely be using it more. It’s such a versatile program.
Kind of an old one but I thought why not;
The Star Grumps: Return of the Jon
Leia- Danny & Luke- Arin skywalker
Practising my Photoshop skills, ending up throwing all the grumps into space.
I decided to try a cross over clip animation, made in Photoshop and animated in After Effects and I had fun doing it!
This piece took me a some serious time, regardless I found it be enjoyable if not challenging.
I am generally proud of how it turned out.
This is a character from my one of my favourite shows (Steven Universe) I found a fan art piece and wanting redevelop it in a unique way. Using a crystallised background and shaping the character from it.
This was a Photoshop I created a few weeks ago while experimenting with masking layers.
To get back into the swing of things, we were asked to animate either a ball all attempted the flowersack exercise, which is when you animate a bag of flour doing odd movements to simulate as if it were alive.
I think I managed well, something that could improve is attempting different ways of animating within flash rather than the regular way which is frame by frame.

This my completed document for my tutorial on Playblasting in Maya.
I produced it as a word file but I may later on further develop this into a short video tutorial.

The final render of my showreel featuring work produced over the academic year and just random projects I worked on and ended up here.
This is the updated version, it is updated as I’d forgotten to add audio previously.
Frame rates.
We researched frame rates globally and found that near enough every country uses different frames rates, this is to do with the development of technology.
The film the Hobbit used 48fps, the higher the frame rate the higher the quality, within this bring a greater scope of manipulation in editing, in terms of slowing it down.
The Uk uses 24fps, US 24fps, and other countries either use lower or higher, like japan uses 29.97fps and because of being behind in development Greece uses 23.96fps.
Anything less than 20fps will strain the eye, if it’s too high it can give you motion sickness.
EOY Project- Production.
I've continued progress on my Wix site by adding more pages like:
Photography
2D Animation
Concept Art & Drawings
3D Models
I have implemented work to all of these pages and I'm still looking through work I've produced to determine what I should add and if I should add more pages.
I'm still willing to add more pages depending on what else I decide to add, below is the link to my Wix site which is now published but still under production.

Evaluation - 2D Animation
This is the last piece of work for this project.
Firstly there’s the feedback I got...
I love the use of frame by frame, it gives a good effect to the fire and their powers. I love the progression and the story, it works really well. — sophiegladdish
I think your animation is good, the backgrounds are amazing!!! You’ve used good effects on after effects such as the distort to give the illusion of looking underwater. Well done! :-) — pml456
Your style has always been one that I have admired, and this animation does not disappoint. Love the fact that you do not stick with one shot with the action happening inside the glob, you have different shots throughout. My improvement for this one is more of a personal issue, I would have preferred to have had a narration saying the dialogue rather than the text, but other wise really well done. — alexridgleymga
Based on the feedback I got I managed to do well all together, but of course I did find difficulties along the way.
Firstly there was the case of the fire scene, the problem was after each frame had already been drawn I needed to edit particular frames by using the paint bucket tool to fill in the blank spots but with some of them I had left gaps without realising and needed to go over each frame by modifying them and selecting union which links them together.
(I found no trouble with this scene after completion of the modification)
Secondly there was the scenes containing text which I decided to early but every time I rendered it the animating would completely fail me and ultimately I decided to continue with it later, I found out later that it was the effect I used on the text that was likely to be causing failure.
(in the final render I had one when I intended add at least three)
Finally the last problem which was setting the stage size, I had realised after completing multiple scenes that I needed to change the stage size so when I exported it would show the entire scene as opposed to a small section.
(Once I had reset all the sizes it became easier to sort the exports)
Self evaluation:
What went well?:
Well for one I’d say certain scenes that I spent a lot of time upon turned out great even though I had limited time near the end to complete one or two scenes they still managed to turn out great and work well with the final render.
What could I improve on?:
I would have definitely have began work on this animation sooner then I wouldn’t have been panicing about being able to finish it in time.
I could have also been using more techniques, post render and production of the sequence.
So in conclusion my strongest point would be to spend more time on scenes and get an early start to avoid panicing near to the end.
