PSA to fic readers, it is so hard to freak a fic writer out with your comments. we are just as crazy about the fic as you are.

tell me you love it. tell me it made you slam your laptop shut. tell me you brought it up at your college lecture about kink. key smash in all caps. quote the passage that made you think. i promise, we’ll love it.

we spend hours thinking about it, writing it, editing it. there is no such thing as over enthusiasm when you’re talking about our fics to us. we are sooooo weird about them, i assure you. you are just matching my freak. the freak bar is already set so high. feel no anxiety about enjoying something and letting the creator know.

Zoro threw down his book, immediately going to straddle you before Sanji pushes him, trying to cage your head between his arms.

Zoro quickly recovers, kicking Sanji. "You asshole! That's unfair!"

"No its not. She didn't state any rules."

"Still! It's unfair!"

Zoro takes this opportunity to swoop in, almost kissing you before getting pushed off the bed.

You were still just lying there, waiting to be kissed.

Zoro, now on the floor, yells. "What the fuck, cook?! That's just unfair!"

"She didn't state that pushing wasn't allowed."

Zoro quickly jumps up, tackling Sanji.

"I'm the best man on this ship!" He declares.

Sanji kicks him in the crotch.

"Okay, that's unfair." He groans.

"Yeah, ball kicking is unfair."

Zoro takes a second to recover before punching Sanji in the chest.

"I'm literally recovering from a rib injury, you mosshead!"

Sanji tackles Zoro, slapping him in the face.

Zoro retaliates by slapping him back.

And before you know it, they're just having a slap fight.

How it genuinely feels to still be reading fan fictions from fandoms I’ve been in since I was 12

i wish i didn’t need to write this but here we are lol

hi. i’m gonna say this once because apparently some of you think writers are public property.

when i say i’m busy with school, it doesn’t secretly mean please pressure me to write more. it means i’m literally busy. i have deadlines, exams, responsibilities. a whole life outside of this app. shocking, right?

writing and making smaus are something i love and enjoy, not something i owe anyone. and when people act entitled to my work, when they message me demanding longer chapters or faster updates, it’s not motivation. it’s just disrespectful.

writers are not a machine. they are not your content dispenser. they are a person. fanfics take time, energy, and a lot of mental space. and if you can’t respect that, you don’t deserve the things writers create.

so if the urge to complain about chapter length or update speed ever hits you, here’s a wild idea: don’t. go read another fic. go touch some grass. go outside. i’m not here to entertain you on command.

i write when i can. i post when i can. and if that’s a problem for you, unfollow me. i won’t lose sleep over it.

writers pour hours, sometimes days, into words you read in ten minutes. for free. and instead of gratitude, we get passive-aggressive asks, rude comments, or guilt trips. it’s honestly embarrassing behavior.

to the writers reading this: i know you’re tired. i know how much effort you put into your work, even when people treat it like it’s nothing. keep writing when you want to. post when you can. your pace is valid. your boundaries are valid. your no is valid.

please stop hiding behind anonymity when sending rude stuff🙏
