Good things come to those who wait? For years and years I’ve struggled with this picture having posted this particular scan as an alternate because all the other available scans were pretty much just green with a blue tint on the edge
It was confusing to see so many that looked the same but to see that this scan was a higher quality even if color-wise it was running against the grain of what I had seen and what other people had presented.
But yesterday my suspicion was verified when I dug up a picture of this painting on display in a gallery, confirming that it is indeed a blue and brown painting at least under some conditions , and while we all know colors change with light, I feel confident and now assuming that this is a good scan and not some kind of anomaly.
So enjoy this formerly green painting, in something that is at least close to its natural look.
I think it’s quite lovely
