You know what Whedon show I love? That one with that team living in their flying base who go around and do good for people. You know, the one with that cute engineer with the possibly unrequited crush on the doctor? And that kind of mysterious girl who has a past we don’t fully understand yet, but she’s managed to get herself in the government’s bad books. There’s that one guy who’s sort of rough around the edges and is better with weapons than he is with people. (Spoiler alert: there’s one point where he betrays the team and puts them in danger. Maybe he can be redeemed.) There’s also this wise, calm, quiet guy who is really nice to everyone on the team, but if you cross him he can and will fuck your shit up. And you can’t forget the leader who pulls them all together and has a non-romantic history with the female badass of the team, which makes her very loyal to him. Man, I love that show.
