I’ve been fascinated with the underground town of Coober Pedy, in Australia, b/c it’s the Opal mining capital of the world, and my birthstone is Opal. Plus, it’s a very interesting place.
B/c it’s so hot, 80% of the town is underground. You can buy an above-ground house, if you really want one, but all homes are relatively inexpensive.
Shopping is underground.
Bars, coffee shops, & restaurants are also underground.
Churches are underground, too.
You can visit & stay in one of the many motels, too. This is the lobby of a Comfort Inn.

MODERN OUR WORLD DWARVEN TOWN AU
we have the tendency to measure ourselves as individuals based on metrics set by people we either don’t know at all (social media/celebrities) or don’t truly know themselves (friends/family). So let me express the importance of self-care and self-knowledge. in order for us to accept who we are, you first gotta learn to be ok with being YOU. Once you become one with all of your strengths and weaknesses you’ll slowly learn that half of the people in your life don’t even amount to you as an individual; internally. some of the ppl you think you can’t live a day without will turn into the same ppl you won’t want to live another day with. Everyone in our life has one of two purposes.
1. they’re present to strengthen you and push you when you feel like you no longer want to continue
2. they’ll stand right in front of you every step you take so they feel empowered and you feel shadowed
Learn about yourself first, then you’ll be able to determine the motives of the people around you. Stop looking in the mirror and asking other people what they see…
GOD LITERALLY in the early 2000s ppl were so self conscious about their fat asses literally everyone just wanted to have no butt and literally 10 yrs later if u have a flat ass you might as well wear a paper bag over your whole fucking body and it well & truly sucks that womens bodies go in and out of fashion like this like tf are we supposed to do? spend all our time obsessing over the minutiae of our physiques? get plastic surgery every 5-10 yrs to make sure our bodies can keep up & b warped with the trends of objectification? like what the fuck do you want from women ?
