Gregory Iron shared the photo above, along with the following caption:
READ & SHARE: I donāt normally address things like this, but Iām making an exception in this case in an effort to make a point. On Sunday afternoon I wrestled for a promotion in Oconto, Wisconsin alongside my one legged tag team partner, Zach Gowen. It was brought to my attention that a local āwrestlerā named āCooter Bocephusā had an issue with this, because I, a performer with cerebral palsy, was booked over him. In a statement on his Facebook profile, under the name Bo Cephus āwhich has probably garnered zero attention from the internet wrestling community until this very momentā he wrote the following: āThis weekend a promotion had a man with cerebral palsy "wrestle.āā¦isnāt the goal to make what happens in the ring believable? Make you stop and think whoa, that guy or girl is a bad ass ā¦how does a person with a deformed arm/hand put a headlock on another person and make the fans believe it hurts, or the person really has the other locked in? ā¦my question is when is enough enough?ā Let me address Mr. Bocephusā post, and if someone would kindly tag him, Iād greatly appreciate it. "The Handicapped Heroesā were brought into Wisconsin to perform as what we in pro wrestling call āan attraction,ā or āa draw.ā You see, Cooterā if thatās your real nameā the goal of a wrestling promotion, or any business for that matter, is to get asses into your place of business and to spend (or ādrawā) their money, thus making the business profitable. āThe Handicapped Heroesā, which features a wrestler with one leg from Detroit, and a wrestler with one partially functional arm due to cerebral palsy from Cleveland (thatās me), have a unique story and look. When you put us on a flyer and advertise us, itās an attention grabber. Furthermore, booking a one of a kind team like us helps attracts sponsors and could even get the promotion featured on the news as further promotion! In fact, our story was covered by ABC News Wisconsin that very day! After I did some research, Iād argue that the character and story of āCooter Bocephus,ā an out of shape local wrestler that has never wrestled outside of Wisconsin or Minnesota that portrays a redneck in jean overallsā a character thatās already been done on a larger stage and much better, I might addā probably isnāt going to draw many eyes to the product or from local TV stations. Furthermore, based on your lack of name value and overall inexperience (according to Cagematch.net, youāve only had 27 matches since 2009) Iām going to assume that the cerebral palsy āwrestlerā didnāt take your spot, as Iām guessing that I cost much more money to book than you do. Now letās touch on your headlock comment, Mr. Bocephus. I mean, this headlock issue seems very important to you. Youāre probably the same type of āwrestlerā that despite your lack of success in the industry and the fact that youāve averaged about 3 matches a year over eight years, you throw around insider terminology freely as if youāve traveled the road thousands of miles and know it all, despite never profiting a dime⦠ā¦actually I just checked your old posts, and you do. Go figure. Yes, I do have cerebral palsy. And yes, while Iād never word it this wayā because it sounds ignorant and disgusting for anyone to do soā I do have a ādeformed right arm/hand.ā However, as I mentioned earlier in this post, itās āpartially functioning.ā While I shouldnāt even have to explain this, my left arm is still fully functioning, and thanks to incredible grip strength from years of only utilizing my left hand, I can still lock a tight grip on to my right fingers and hand, successfully utilizing a headlock. If it didnāt make sense, I wouldnāt do it. I think itās fair to mention, though, that based on your pictures online, I think it could be argued that my ādeformedā arm has more muscle definition than any muscle on your entire body. Also, after watching one of your matches, your headlock, as well as your in-ring psychology, could definitely use some work (match is included in the comments below). [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3_ZmMWwZHU&feature=youtu.be] One more thing. One of the words that Cooter used in his post was ābelievableā when it comes to in-ring performances with cerebral palsy⦠ā¦this is coming from a man whose finishing maneuver involves pretending to stick a rubber duck up his opponentsā rectum. Hey, nothing against being silly if youāre over and drawing moneyā look at Joey Ryan. However, the fact is the only reason anyone knows āCooter Bocephusā is because I took 15 minutes out of my day to acknowledge his existence. My point here? If you want to go far in pro wrestling, or anything in life, work hard. Travel. Go out and get as much in-ring experience as you can. Diet. Exercise. Be able to properly assess your situation, and figure out why you havenāt got as far as you think you should be. Thereās always room for improvement. I try to improve daily. Donāt be a Cooter, sitting on the internet, crying. Find an excuseā or find a way. -Greg

Hey everyone, our new episode is up. We talk about the 2014 TLC event. A TV blew up in Dean Ambrose's face so thats pretty cool. Once thing that we didn't mention when discussing the historical significance of this event was that it was the first and only time they tried to add stairs into the events branding. At least I think it is. Maybe it's not actually that important. Anyway enjoy!
I will never in a million lifetimes be this cool.

Gooeyās best of 2017
By the end of the year, it becomes very difficult to choose the best matches that occurred. I thought that I might try to document some of them over the course of 2017 so that when its over, I will have a pretty comprehensive list! As Iām beginning this there have only been a couple of major events, being that it is only a couple weeks into the year. That being said, the Royal Rumble as well as NXT Takeover: San Antonio are this weekend, so lets hope they can have some quality matches that will MAKE THE LIST!Ā
Update: (2/1/2017) - Royal Rumble weekend is over, and while there were many great matches between NXT, Royal Rumble, and even some solid TV matches, I feel like I could only add Cena/Styles to the list. I did really enjoy most the matches I saw this weekend though, so overall WWE should get some recognition for putting on so many good matches on all these cards.
Update: (2/15/2017) - Elimination Chamber and the Raw and Smackdown that follow have occurred. I donāt think Iām going to be adding any of the matches that happened Though there were many that were really well done and a lot of fun, I think by the end of the year they will be taken off the list. That being said, I do want to give a shoutout to the Elimination Chamber match, Orton/Harper, Bayley/Flair, and even Wyatt/Styles/Cena! I have yet to see the NJPW New Beginnings shows, so I guess weāll see what happens with that.
Update: (5/3/2017) - So I havent updated this list in quite some time. I havenāt felt as if there were matches that will qualify for my top ten by the end of the year. Wrestlemania had some fun matches and great moments, but nothing that I felt was top ten worthy. NXT Takeover had a great triple threat tag team match, but Iām debating on if I should add that. Regardless, I had to add Okada/Shibata to this.Ā
Update: (5/24/2017) - What an awesome weekend in Chicago! NXT Takeover was fantastic and Backlash was a pretty fun time. Iām definitely adding that fantastic UK title match, and Iām also debating adding the tag match, especially considering what conspired afterwards.
So here it goes. #1 is probably pretty obvious.
1) Kazuchika Okada / Kenny Omega - Wrestle Kingdom 11
I highly doubt this match will be dethroned from the #1 spot. What more can be said, not just the greatest match of the year but potentially one of the greatest of all time?
2) Kazuchika Okada / Katsuyori Shibata - Sakura Genesis
I had almost wanted to put this one at number one. I may even still by the end of the year. This was another match that made me think, āTHIS could be one of the best wrestling matches Iāve ever seen.ā It is, of course, very upsetting to Shibata. He was such an excellent performer who did not deserve to have his career cut short. That being said, the storytelling of this match was above par to almost anything else Iāve seen. Okada is having one of the greatest title runs with so many epic encounters.
3) Pete Dunne / Tyler Bate - NXT Takeover Chicago
I was so surprised that this match topped their first WWE encounter. With all the great storytelling that lead into the final match of the UK tournament, this still somehow managed to top it. This is definitely the best match produced in WWE so far this year, even considering the epicness of the Cena/Styles encounter. I would love to see them try to top in though!
4) John Cena / AJ Styles - Royal Rumble
This match pushed down the UK Tournament finals for me, which was hard to decide. Maybe it shouldnāt have been a hard decision. While the UK Tourney was excellent, I think the epic scope of this match overshadows it. Cena and Styles are such great opponents for each other to face, and I think this was their best bout yet. Cena winning his 16th title added even more to this, and has me looking forward to whenever these two clash again in singles competition.
5) Tyler Bate / Pete Dunne - WWE UK Tournament Finals
This was the culmination of two days of good storytelling. Everything in this tournament lead up to this match and such a satisfying finale. Iām hoping to see more great work from these guys now that I have been introduced to them!So what else should be on this list?Ā
Imagine...
You work a 20-40 hour work week. You hear that Raw, SmackDown, or any number of pay-per-view events are coming to town. You either go to the arena and wait in line or be sure to get online in time to get the tickets that you want. You drive to the arena, making sure you put gas in your car (which isnāt free), or you get an Uber (also not free). You pay to park, anywhere from $4-$20 (based on experience). You buy a t-shirt, maybe a program, nachos, hot dogs, soda, beer, etc. You sit in an uncomfortable seat next to someone you donāt know. An entire roster of professionals who train every day to be on the show youāre fucking attending come out and wrestle on whatās basically free TV for your entertainment.
And you spend however long at the event chanting āCM Punkā in 20fucking17, 3 years after he LEFT pro wrestling and hasnāt done an event since, because youāre not completely enthralled with the match in front of you.
If this is a story about you, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but⦠youāre a fucking asshole, and youāre the worst kind of wrestling fan. Plus, youāre fucking stupid. Who spends that much money to sit around and act like an asshole? Who empties their wallet to sit there like a jackass and demean the wrestlers destroying their bodies for your entertainment?
Oh well. Do you, I guess.
If I buy my ticket I do like to remind them that they completely drove away the greatest wrestler of our time with obvious bs politicking, shit that they have because of that experience lightly tried to walk back on with current stars, by chanting his name. I kinda hope his ghost haunts them forever honestly. I still cheer the wrestlers working there too
If only others had your tactful thinking I would find it acceptable, but most people are just jackasses who donāt cheer the other workers and dont really give a rip about anything other than being trolls. These are the same people who busted out beach balls multiple times the other night during some good matches with good people doing their job and chanted for the damn things.
(Meltzer voice) very stiff. 5 stars.

This is one of the saddest moments in cinema history.
dad: but with new japan isnāt the commentary in japanese?

dad: but isnāt that kind of difficult
me: i canāt even beginĀ to explain how relaxing it is to not be able to understand the commentators. no sexism, no racism, no off-topic references to random shit to distract me from the action, no moments of like āwow you donāt understand this character at all, huh?ā none of that. every once in a while iām likeĀ ādid they just say the wordsĀ āamerican bison??ā Like, itās so amazing i cannot recommend it enough
This week, we take a look at the match that got Vic back into following wrestling in his adult life. We talk about the WWE style, as compared to the style of indie wrestling today, and what elements o
