the anti lgbt sentiment goes that lgbt people were formed by their perverted & psychologically disordered life experiences, going against their original ontological hegemonically sexed self, so the pro lgbt narratives commonly go "this is actually our ontological self too! we were not formed by our life in anyway" when truth of the matter is everyone was formed by their perverted traumatic life
Cisheterosexual normativity is produced by mass grooming of children except this behavioral conditioning and identity forming practice is put on a pedestal as virtuous. There is no default psychological order such a thing is artificially perscribed by the powers that be so that any deviation can then be pathologized but the fact is we aren't disordered but simply differently ordered. None of us had a sexual orientation or a gender identity until we were forced to navigate through the system of patriarchy. Most folks apparently take the easy route and conform to whatever they're instructed to be to minimize friction.
ofc chimpanzees come out of the womb knowing without any external factors and 0 outside influence that they have to be a normative cishet style chimp to produce and raise chimp babies normatively and just like chimps when a humans brain does mitosis in the womb there is an evolutionary hardcoded center dedicated to 21st century Cisheterosexual Normativity
Hey so I'm a developmental scientist so I'm kind of qualified to answer this.
Nature vs. nurture is a false dichotomy, in humans AND all but the simplest animals. Every human behavior you see is a natural behavior, because if it weren't we wouldn't be capable of developing it. This is why your childhood trauma or your excellent education or whatever can't make you fly or become a mind reader.
However, we're built to adapt to our surroundings, and most traits and behaviors that we develop, we develop because of the way some of our base traits interact with our environments. This happens on multiple levels, from the cellular level to the very cognitive and symbolic way in which you learn and adopt various social constructs, and all of these levels interact with each other, which is why it's pretty hard to determine what causes what exactly, but don't worry, they pay me to do a lot of math so we can do it a bit better and I'm doing my best :)
Here's a simple example: you'd think that vision is "natural", right? Animals are born with eyes so the fact that they can see is a natural trait. Well, if you cover a newborn kitten's eyes and leave it like that for a couple of months, once you take off the covering the kitten is blind. Its eyes OUGHT to work properly, but because the kitten's brain missed the sensitive periods necessary to develop its visual cortex, it will now be blind forever. If you put a newborn kitten's head in a box that's painted with vertical stripes, the kitten will only be able to perceive vertical lines with its brain for the rest of its life.
EVERYTHING about humans functions like this. You almost always need some type of environmental input to trigger some sort of trait, whether it's a nutrient or a characteristic of the uterine environment or certain reinforcement patterns or specific social norms or how popular you are in high school.
Every trait you have is simultaneously 100% nature and 100% nurture.
So to say that your sexuality was formed by your life experiences (and everyone has some amount of weird or fucked up life experiences, we live in a society) is a pretty bland and obvious statement to me because most things about you were formed by the thick and complex patina of your life experiences.
The issue is that straight people don't have to justify how the interaction of their genetic material and their life experiences led to them developing as straight, whereas queer people do, even though there's nothing inherently harmful to oneself or others in being queer. We call this homophobia.
