“Cas, don’t.” He quickly warned her, putting a hand on her shoulder to try to force her down once again. Angelic wounds were probably different from human wounds, but Dean knew little to nothing about the healing process of an angel, so he decided to act as though she was human. He couldn’t take care of her properly if he was going to second-guess his every move, wondering whether that was a good idea for an angel or not. “Don’t try to get up, just stay down, alright? You’re hurt, you don’t want to make it worse. I’ve got you.” He assured her, his voice soft but confident and assertive at the same time.

When she told him that she was fine, Dean couldn’t help but give her a small smile. Of course she would say that she was alright. “Sorry to burst your bubble, but you’ve been shot, so I’m gonna need something a little more true than fine. Really, Cas, I’ve gotta know how bad it is.”

“Dean, the bullet...the bullet is just above my grace, there is not much you can do about it.” Castiel said, as she tried not to move much, the pain in fact was not helping her stay put, it burned, it burned worse than she thought of and the adrenaline from her vessel was fastly dissappearing, making her more concious about the damage, her eyes went to meet his once more and she for the first time felt very much weak and very much human, not the nice kind of human but the one who made her regret even thinking to come down to Earth, she took a deep breath and ty to wait for what was next, perhaps treating her wound was the best idea, she let a sigh and the movement made her flinch in pain with a groan, the wound was just on her abdomen, she let her head fall back. 

She started looking around her surroundings, seeing that there was no signs of any other threats another thought came over her and as she looked around once more, in a failed attempt to distract herself “...is Sam alright? Where is he? Are you alright..? You are not hurt are you? “ Talking, talking made her forget about things, she tried to move again, do something, she felt utterly useless!
