“You do? Oh that is perfect! If it is no trouble, I would love that. I am Marie, by the way, you are awfully nice to offer me help.”

Marie had wondered if Theo would do something different, something adventurous and unspoken of. Though she was slightly disappointed by the lack of surprise, the apparent sadness was quickly masked by the feeling of his member against her body. A faint moan fell from her lips, her head tipped forward as he guided her down against him. The way he entered her was riveting, far more pleasurable than the first time they had sex. Keeping herself still, Marie wondered whether she was meant to do something. She remained there momentarily until she found herself slowly beginning to move, rocking her body upwards to create a small friction between their bodies.

“I’m actually glad that I don’t have to wait too long. I was hoping she would get pregnant soon anyway.” Berlioz had figured he would have gotten her pregnant over their honeymoon, but this was just as good. He just hoped that all of this talk about a baby wasn’t making Marie want to go out and get herself pregnant. “That’s true. Celine and I figure that our children can do whatever they want as long as it’s not boring,” he replied jokingly with a laugh. “It’s more than I would imagine having,” he admitted, though he wouldn’t be completely against it. He figured Celine should have a say in it. “She has been feeling sick. She actually got quite sick when we got to the hotel on the first night.” He had been so worried, but when she had revealed she was pregnant it had all made sense. “We went to the beach and swam, walked around to look at the sights. The room was really nice, so we were in there a lot…”
“You did not want to spend a year traveling before having to settle down?” She was confused by what changed his heart so easily, Marie always figured Berlioz was the one to have wanted the chance to travel more before having a family of his own. “That is horrible Berlioz. Even if it is boring, they should have your support regardless.” She picked her hand up and whacked him across the arm. It hadn’t seemed very kind of him to joke in such a way, children could be whatever they wanted to be. “I am sure travel and the change of environment did that to her. Though I am happy you had a fun time. At least you were able to do some things along the way. Was there anything exciting to see? What is California like?”

Jazz was taking Trixie out for a walk in the nice weather. She pushed the stroller in front of. her while the young child sat on her hip. Bouncing her gently, she noticed her little girl had become distracted by a stranger in the distance. Sounds of laughter escaped from her lips as she watched the girl swing. “Looks like fun.” Jazz called out. “At least my baby thinks so. I’m sure she wants to do it but she can’t even stand yet. An adventurous one she is.”
Marie’s feet dug into the ground, bringing the swing to a halt as she heard a voice ring in her ear. “Very much so!” She giggled, jumping off to meet the stranger. “Oh your baby is so adorable! I am sure she would love the swings when she is a little bigger. It is a shame they do not have one made for babies. What is her name?”

“They’re…interesting. I don’t think I’ve had this kind before.”
“Neither had I, though I wish to try it. Should we do it together?”
retrospectxve:
“I really wasn’t. But I was happy about it—I’m still happy about it.” He wondered why both of his siblings had asked him if he was happy about it. Didn’t he seem happy? “I’m not sure. Maybe a month or so.” She hadn’t really started to show that much, so it must have been early on. “I guess part of me does want a boy, but I would be happy with a girl too. And I’m sure with Celine’s and your infuence she will love dancing.” He still hoped to try to teach all of the children he would potentially have how to play the piano. That was important to him. “Five? That seems…like a lot,” he replied with a nervous laugh. “I mean, I do like kids, though.” He nodded with a smile. “A little. We can go look for presents now if you want.”
“I do hope you would be happy still, you are with a child for the rest of your life now. Though I thought it would be a little bit longer until you had one, I am happy to have a niece or nephew soon.” She smiled, having been a little jealous then. Marie was hardly even close to marriage, let alone having a child of her very own. She was growing old and with age she knew the likelihood of having a child was getting smaller and smaller. Celine was lucky. “I do bet. Celine will make a marvelous mother. Though even if it was a boy, that should not mean he cannot love dancing either.” Marie was sure that Celine would teach her son to dance as well. “That is hardly a lot, people have dozens of kids these days. What has Celine been up to? Has she been sick or having weird cravings?” She could not begin to wonder how that felt like, perhaps it was uncomfortable. Linking her arm with Berlioz, Marie pulled herself close and placed her head against his shoulder. “How was the honeymoon, what did you do?”
retrospectxve:
“I guess I must be the idiot, then. I didn’t even realize.” Berlioz chuckled, running a hand through his hair. Even that day he hadn’t realized that all of her being sick would have meant she was pregnant. “We haven’t really thought about names yet, and we don’t know what the baby is going to be. I’m sure we’ll find out soon. I have a feeling it’ll be a boy.” He would make sure Marie knew as soon as they found out. “I’m glad you’re so excited. I don’t know how many we’ll end up having. Maybe three?” That was his guess, and it seemed like a good number. He didn’t really mind how many children he and Celine ended up having.
“I am sure you were not looking for signs of her being pregnant. I do hope you were happy though, that she is.” She was sure that Berlioz had been happy, who could not be for a baby? “How far is she now? A month?” Marie had not seen Celine, though she mentally noted to try to find her someday soon. “A feeling? Is that because you just want the child to be a boy? I bet it will be a girl and she is going to love dancing.” She giggled, having wanted the child to be a girl just for the sake of having more girls in the family. “Only three? You need to have at least five! A good mixture,” she cooed, wanting to spook him only slightly. “So have you started preparing? OH we should go and look for presents!”
retrospectxve:
“I was hoping you’d say that,” Berlioz replied, opening his arms up and hugging her tightly. He had missed both of his siblings equally, but it was always nice to see Marie again after being apart for so long. When she took the box and opened it, he didn’t get as excited of a reaction as he had hoped for. “You already knew? She took a test the day we got to the hotel and told me then. You’re excited though, right? To be an aunt?”
It had felt like years since she last saw Berlioz. Plenty had happened, though none of it was all that exciting. She contemplated telling him about being stabbed, but figured it was best to keep the conversation on a happier note. “It was not that difficult to see. I was reading about it when she was showing signs. Of course I am happy for you both, you are going to have a child. Have you thought about names. Or the gender! Oh I am going to spoil that child endless. How many have you thought about having?”
retrospectxve:
Berlioz waited for his sister to open the door, smiling at her when she did. “I have your gift like I promised,” he said, holding out a little jewelry box to her. “You can open it now if you want.”

Marie smiled once she saw her brother, pushing aside the box so to hug him first. “Don’t you want to hug me?” She chuckled, finding that she much rather have been able to see her brother and be given a gift. Pulling back, Marie grabbed the jewelry box and opened it. “Best Aunt?” She smiled, picking out the necklace and holding it up closer. “So Celine is pregnant? Really? I should be surprised, but I am not. I realized she may have been pregnant before you went on your honeymoon.”

Setting her phone aside, Marie fixed her shoes and made her way towards the door. Pulling it open, she stuck her head out slightly.
