Rose held Sapphire in the hug, giving her time to calm down. She knew thoughts like that would make a person, or gem, in this case, extremely upset. And they were hard to stop.

“It’s alright, Sapphire. No matter how they came, what matters is that you know they’re not true.”

Sapphire nodded, she hated when her emotions got out of control, it made her feel... weak. She relaxed into the motherly gem, taking a deep breath.

“Y-Yeah...”

“Mm.” Ruby let out a little sigh, bringing her arms around Sapphire’s waist once againn, holding her tight. “I can’t argue with that.” She consented, nuzzling into her shoulder.

Sapphire took a deep breath, nodding once. That’s all she really needed to hear. Her fingers moved to continued gently petting through the other’s hair. They’ll be ok...

with that, the escort took to patrolling the halls again, checking each and every containment for possible problems. luckily, the quartz child was still knocked out, and the others didn’t appear to even be trying to plan any sort of escape. this was rather pleasing to the lioness. it meant she could get to her destination on-schedule without an unnecessary hassle. so long as that cyclops brat kept her mouth shut, she’d be on her way.

 Of course, her last warning was a couple warnings ago... So Sapphire was far from worried. Her fingers curled against each other, moving them to settle against her chest. One. Two. Three. Her powerful song echoed out of her throat once more, eye fluttering to a close. 

She was far from afraid.
