Youtube tutorials
I have watched a few 30min youtube videos on converting PSD to Html. My HTML and CSS knowledge is good enough for me to follow along and absorb the process. Now I am investigating how to approach coding for tablets/phones.
Learning all about HTML tags. I am figuring out the process. I will convert a PSD design into HTML using dreamweaver, then cut it up into Wordpress format. I'll test it out using MAMP ( a local server). LETS GO!
Local site
I want to play around with my site locally so I am using this http://mamp.info/en/index.html.

wikipedia is my friend
".... For tools and platforms, the public can use many open source systems to aid in web development. .... This has kept the cost of learning web development to a minimum... Using such software, virtually anyone can relatively quickly learn to develop a very basic web page. Knowledge of HyperText Markup Language (HTML) or of programming languages is still required to use such software, but the basics can be learned and implemented quickly with the help of help files, technical books, internet tutorials, or face-to-face training."
