    ah, my first purchase from r + w’s brand. it’s one of my go-to articles now that autumn is here. i really appreciate the long sleeves and the hood, which is adorably oversized and perfect for shrouding yourself in mystery 👀 Â
material: 95% cotton, 5% elastane.
overall quality:      overall, it’s really cute. the material is thick (not see through at all) and has just enough stretch to make all types of moving comfortable. my partner and i went dancing after our dinner and i didn’t feel constricted or concerned about it rising or seams tugging at all. it is well stitched, with no loose threads and well secured at the sleeve and hood hem.
true to size?      i’d say so, yes. i have a larger bust for my frame and so this is tight around my chest but leaves a precarious space between the fabric and my stomach as a result, which isn’t always the look that i’m going for. for someone which a smaller chest this would be perfect. size up if your boobs are larger than a uk 34c.Â
small details/lack thereof:     the mock neck is a really nice detail that i think completes this overall look. the moon prints are lovely and vivid and despite them already beginning to crack, there’s no sign of the colour fading, which is a relief. the violet colour of the inside of the hood is also a great addition, and is just enough to elevate an all-black outfit into something a bit more special.Â
worth rrp?    honestly? i don’t think so. the print is cute and the hood is a fun element but the print has begun to split in areas after only 3 washes. while the quality is nice and it feels well made, £40 is far too much imo. search for it second hand or wait until it goes on sale on their website, babe.Â
worth price paid?    yes. i wouldn’t pay more than £25 for it personally, however.Â
paired with:    a topshop mini skirt, leg avenue celestial tights, and demonia camels. accessorised with a couple of r + w’s rings as well. Â
