Hello! I'm Pyrite of the skywings. I'm a former skywing solider currently under the talons of peace until Queen Scarlet returns. I'm loyal to Queen Scarlet and believe she is alive and the correct queen of my tribe, though despite not living with them I am loyal to my tribe. I go by She/They :P

Something about pyrite design hcs

my personal headcanon is that animus touched 'masks' basically have to pull from the underneath dragon unless the enchantment has every little detail down. For example if say the real dragon underneath has a distinctive marking that marking is the same.

Also depictions of her necklace are very inconsistent! As illustrated here:

but, anyways, nice to see you're alright! oh, I never got the chance to tell you, but I always thought your yellow scales looked really pretty!! there's not a lot of yellow skywings (or, well, not that I've seen at least), so your scales are super duper unique! Very cool :]

I thought your scales were pretty cool too! A lot of sandwing scales are very drab and dusty I've never seen a gold like that. Yellow skywings aren't impossible (obviously :P) but a lot less common than red or orange.

Oh yeah I know Winter he's such a grump! Haha. I don't mind him though Cirrus is a huffy grump too so maybe it's just an icewing thing? I think I might've heard a mention of his brother before?? One of my friends back in the day got separated from his brother in a battle and it's pretty harrowing hope it works out

That's not true you know I'm always loyal to my tribe first! Cirrus is an exception. I don't have much time for hobbies with the talons of peace but I'm hoping to try sewing once Scarlet returns to the throne.

The Night Before Winglets: Hero Predictions

-Tui basically apologises for killing Carnelian by letting her do something which is why she's in the extract

-Jasper X Ruby becomes a massively popular ship following the winglet (please be well written)

Skywings - the best tribe obviously! I'm lucky to have been born one

Mudwings - Alright. I had some mudwing friends in the war but some of them need to learn their place and not try to boss us skywings around!

Seawings - All their soliders are traitors to Burn they're also just really weird! I guess I can't say too much about them because the leader of the talons of peace is a seawing.

Rainwings - I'm not sure it's particularly worth having an opinion on them. Never met one but if I did I don't think they'd be particularly interesting but at least that's not mean or horrible. I hate that one that attacked my queen however.

Nightwings - I've seen a few while I've been with the talons of peace. Same opinion everyone else has I'm clueless since you never see any. The ones I have seen were scary.

Sandwings - It depends if they support Burn then great! I had a friend in the war who was a sandwing who supported Burn. Otherwise I'm not sure.

Icewings - I used to not like them but my friend Cirrus is an icewing so I guess if they're all like him when we're not on the battlefield they might actually be interesting??

Silkwings - wierdd but they seem pretty harmless. I heard the poor things are born without wings! Can you imagine that!

Hivewings - They really freak me out I try to avoid them where I can not that they're probably all mean but urgh they make my scales crawl.

Leafwings - I don't really know?? I'm yet to meet one they remind me a bit of seawings and rainwings so similar feelings there.

I have never met a Skywing before, what makes you different from other two winged dragons?

Other than being the best most free tribe factually we are the fastest fliers and have the hottest fire. Nice to meet you maybe hivewings might not be so bad.

I might do a WoF roleplay blog to practice roleplaying and writing since I haven't done that in years but I wanna get back into it. what do y'all think of that. Idk who to be tho. I might test multiple characters, what do you think?

My main list rn is winter or snowfall. Winter because I could have it be his "art blog" since he's canonically an artist, and he has a lot of characters I could interact with other ask blogs of. Snowfall because idk just seems fun

Good to see that at least SOME dragons have the spine to remain loyal to their TRUE QUEEN.

Though I question your decision to debase yourself by joining those sky-damned Talons of Peace. I mean, what’s all that good about peace anyway? Fewer contestants for my arena. (Not that I’ll need any more after I deal with all of the traitorous Ruby supporters)

Your majesty it's such an honour to have you on my blog! I will stay loyal I promise I can't imagine the sky kingdom any other way than under your rule. The talons of peace are a temporary arrangement I promise once you return to the throne I will leave them and bring any intelligence on them I have gathered with me.

Why do you like to sleep next to Cirrus? It must get so uncomfortably cold at night!

Because he and Avalanche are my only friends in the talons. He's a bit overprotective and insists on it. I fall asleep pretty quickly so it doesn't bother me. Avalanche complains about it sometimes.
