“Or apparently take the easy way, and do the nasty with an elemental like my mom did...” An apparent passerby speaks up, the man not seeming all-too-pleased with the condescending nature of such comments. He stops, staring at the witch as she gave her little spiel, recognizing her from the woods. “Try not to get too big of a head. Magic comes in a lotta ways.”

Feeling a hand on his shoulder, Agsil tensed more, before slowly beginning to relax, the gesture having brought him back to the present.
“...I’m... sorry...” He managed, placing his hand over her’s as if to let her know he was okay. “...Get that way... when hit with ice...”
He shudders visibly.

“Y’know... people talk shit about me a lot. It’s par for the course at this point. ‘Why’s the hero on fire?’ ‘Where’s the hero been the past five years?’ I’ve heard it all...”
“But the moment my loved ones get shit talked for something that ISN’T EVEN IN MY FUCKING CONTROL, is when I draw the Loritha damned fucking line.”

He resisted the urge to stoop to the young fool’s level and inform him that actually, yes, spirit orbs are a type of ghost since they’re immaterial souls lingering in the mortal plane. Such childish behavior was beneath the doomknight, and while he was was entirely unfamiliar with this “soulweaving” practice, something told him that a “soul ally” likely fell under the umbrella as well.
No, what he was interested in, what absolutely infuriated him, was the gͨͬ̉a̸̓ͬ̚lͭ̚lͪ̓̾̚̚ of this c̷̨͞h̨̀҉il͠d͘͞, for daring to think that the doomknight ò̀͘̕͢ẃ̵̨͝e̴̴͟͡d̷͟͟ him anything, even something as simple as an explanation.
“You forget who you are speaking to, child,” he seethed, anger crackling around his armor in bursts. “I am not some friend to casually insult, nor will I tolerate being treated as such. It is only by the will of my master that I have not already reduced you to a glowing smear on the ground beneath your feet for this slight.”
Oh. Now THAT was a reality check. Agsil could practically feel the DOOM pouring off of Sepulchure in waves, the sheer fury filling the pyromancer with dread. That was the power of a DoomKnight, and one with the power of a Doom Weapon to boot.
He really needed to learn when to shut his god damn flame hole.
“Fine, fine, holy shit. I get it, I’m only alive because of the puppetmaster, I’ll remember that,” he spouted, still cringing from the other’s sheer force of will. He’d surround himself with a dim aura of fire in an effort to buffer at least a bit of it to save his own sanity. “Fiamme’s tears, I sure as hell aren’t gonna ask THAT question again...”
