GIYŪ who just can’t bring himself to stop staring deep into your pretty eyes.

you find it a little awkward how he’ll just randomly, out of the blue stare into your eyes as if he was staring deep into your soul, but he finds nothing wrong with it.

It had become one of those little mysteries that followed Giyū everywhere. You could be folding laundry together in comfortable silence, walking side by side beneath the trees, or simply sharing a quiet meal when he’d suddenly stop whatever he was doing and look directly into your eyes. No warning. No explanation. Just that perfectly unreadable, deadpan expression that never seemed to change. The first few times it happened, you nervously asked if something was wrong. He’d blink once, answer with a calm, “No,” and continue on as though nothing unusual had happened. Yet the staring never stopped. Sometimes it lasted only a heartbeat. Other times it stretched long enough to make you glance over your shoulder, convinced there had to be something behind you. There never was. It was just Giyū… staring.

Eventually, you stopped questioning it. If anything, it became oddly endearing. One afternoon while you watered the garden, you felt the familiar sensation of being watched. Sure enough, Giyū stood a few feet away, meeting your gaze with the same impossibly blank face. You couldn’t help laughing. “Again?” you asked, trying…and failing…not to smile. “Is this some secret Hashira training exercise?” He remained silent for another second before giving the smallest shake of his head. “No.” “…Then why are you staring?” Another pause. “I like looking at you.” He said it with the exact same expressionless face he’d wear while commenting on the weather, making the confession so unexpectedly sincere that your cheeks immediately warmed. Meanwhile, Giyū simply continued looking at you as if he’d said nothing remarkable at all.

From then on, the random staring contests became part of everyday life. Sometimes you’d catch him already watching you from across the room, and other times you’d turn your head only to find him quietly holding your gaze for absolutely no reason. Friends occasionally noticed and asked if something was wrong between you. You’d only smile and wave it off while Giyū, completely unfazed, continued staring with the emotional intensity of a very thoughtful stone statue. Eventually, you’d learned the perfect response: instead of growing flustered, you’d stare right back. The first few times, Giyū blinked in mild surprise before the faintest hint of a smile softened the corners of his lips—so subtle that anyone else would’ve missed it. You didn’t. Beneath all that silence and that famously unreadable expression, this was simply one of the quiet ways he showed his affection, and somehow, those wordless moments said more than conversations ever could.

So we got werewolf Sanemi and seelie (and maybe potentially dragon) Kyojuro, when is monster Giyu dropping? I could see him as a sea serpent/leviathan, naga, or a harpy with big pretty wings to pet and play with, just some thoughts
