If I could go back in time I would send myself a message that says “Don’t listen to the people who tell you not to do something because it’s weird. Do it anyway. Never stop being weird and curious. It gets better. Also, most importantly..... Hug them all ❤️” .

I told myself to stop getting anxious about not having enough time. I felt like I needed to hurry and do this and hurry to do that . And then I realized that I wasn’t enjoying what I was doing. I wasn’t actually enjoying the little moments that I had right then and there. I could feel myself getting so anxious that I couldn’t breathe and I wasn’t doing anything at all but just thinking! I knew that had to stop. I told myself and I still tell myself ‘You were made to be here in this moment, to be who you are right now , to be who you’re going to be. So breathe girl. You are you and you’re beautiful. Breathe. Relax.

Proposal

You asked me if a ring would cure me of my insecurity, if a physical promise of forever would remove the anxiety and woes from my mind. I silently shook my head no, still dreaming of the days where a promise of forever meant more than easing the monsters that reside in my head.
