Hear me out a basic anime that’s about people being a part of a musical theatre where they compete against each other in different performances, and they have these little familiar that attached to them, and every time, one of them dies or fails in the performances and gets sold off those familiar go with them or also dying, and the main character of the anime gets repeatedly marked for being ugly and boring And nothing about her parents change other than the fact that she is a great performer she makes her own costumes. She practises them nonstop and when she feels confident, it’s like she’s a different person, but she doesn’t just win immediately she has to come up with the right musical number for the crowd, she has to figure out how to work the crowd. She has to figure out how to build herself up when to be there what to say she changes herself so often that by the end of the anime she not only has to deal with survival’s guilt, but also wondering if she’s even the same girl who originally started

Hear me out a DND campaign, but the only rule is that you work at a diner and you’re not allowed to leave the diner. Everything else is fair game you’re allowed to hide in the bathroom you’re allowed to go into full revolt. You’re allowed to fight a customer, but all of the customers are monsters and if you piss off certain ones, they will just to kill you, but you can also kill other customers without any consequence and some there are consequences and the staff takes about one minute real lifetime to make orders so you have to stall in that time but every time you piss them off a minute is added so if you continuously fuck with the chefs all night, you’ll be stuck talking to an Eldridge horror for three hours as long as you stay in the diner for whatever real life amount of time your party agrees on then you win, but if your whole party dies before then then you lose, and you have to deal with that shame

From reading the comic books, and watching several different shows And just gauging what personality Tumblr thinks they have I will forever and always believe that Tim is way more likely to get deeply disturbed and worry when one of his siblings randomly starts telling him about trauma and he will genuinely ask them if they’re OK

because he’s been through traumatic things but his brain never reminds him that the people he love that are around him also go through traumatic things so he immediately tries to fix the problem like he tried to fix Bruce’s mental health by becoming robin

meanwhile, though Dick would absolutely not give a fuck about his siblings, randomly trauma dumping and literally be the type of person to say “lol same” because that boy had all of his concern drained out of him by Lil Jason Todd, who would tell him the most concerning heartbreaking things on a random Tuesday to explain why he acts a certain way

plus Dick had to deal with people trusting him with heartbreaking information all the time. Of course he’s going to know what to do if one of his family members randomly tells him about trauma

as someone who is extremely fucked up, the right response is never asking them “What’s wrong” or trying to fix it unless they are actively crying and needing comfort if they label it as a joke, your response should be to joke about your own trauma or laugh because they do not want to feel like a charity project or like they’re feeling the wrong way

is it kind of messed up to laugh along with a person when talking about your trauma? yeah, but it’s the right thing to do and it shows the other person that he’s there and he gets it and he doesn’t judge them for their trauma

I guarantee Dick had to learn that pretty quickly when being friends with Roy because of how much the archer hates feeling like a charity case

Being in the apothecary diaries fandom is absolutely crazy because there is literally thousands of gorgeous intelligent brave, beautiful spectacular women with different personalities and goals and like three young guys in the corner and two of them are just kind of conventionally, attractive, and two of them are absolutely getting dog walked by the women. They are madly in love with, and the fans is just like “ oh my God have you seen those three guys in the corner?!?!” no, I was too busy looking at the gorgeous, intelligent woman in front of me

It’s an absolute delight, watching people who aren’t American or Canadian or Australian or British discover the DSMP for the first time because all of their contact is genuinely interesting and soft comfort and it’s not just “how much can I screw over this character that I like because the economy is burning?“ or “how much gay sex can I sneak into this Minecraft server before they banned me?” it’s a delight to see content that’s not tragic or horny

As much as I try to deny it as a child Daphne is genuinely one of my favourite characters from the Scooby Doo gang because she’s just a wildcard all the time and the writers go out of their way to make sure she’s not just the mean pretty girl stereotype if you watched the short but very impactful animated series for Scooby Doo. It shows Daphne in a new lighting where she genuinely just has random interests, but none of them ever help with whatever the gang is doing so that’s why she doesn’t bring them up. The only reason she only talks about fashion is because she is not going to need to tell everybody about the secret techniques of macramé randomly on a Tuesday afternoon when fighting a health insurance CEO and I think more writers should absolutely integrate that and make it a part of her personality because I 100% believe that she is simply an adrenaline junkie that lives for whimsy and joy. I absolutely adore her and just because she’s feminine does not mean she’s not capable of other things, it’s just that all of her other hobbies are specific as fuck and not helpful in a day-to-day situation no matter what they’re doing, and I believe someone needs to write that the duality of her is absolutely incredible and I live for it every day
