And Sam turns to walk away. Colby's fingers twitch, hands wanting to curl towards the other man, to reach out. The blond steps through the broken window, feet carefully avoiding the broken glass, and he fades away into the stark sunlight. For a second, his hair lit up so bright, and instead of a bloodstained ransacked storefront in the end of the world—Colby saw a bright young Sam with sun kissed skin trying to sneak his way out of an abandoned place, like they used to do. Like they’re just filming a video. Like the world never ended at all.

Normally he wouldn't look at promotions, but he opens it up anyway. On one of the email’s banners, something catches his eye. It’s a padlock, but with a digital screen on it, next to it is a pair of handcuffs that look identical to the ones they just used. Sam squints at the screen. Something about… enhancing play. Timer locks…? Hmm. Sam glances down at the man on his chest, fingers still idly brushing against the small indents in his wrist. He traces the pretty marks with his eyes. Interesting…

Sam Golbach hates angels. — He doesn’t know if he was blessed by God. Or if he was meant to be more. He just knew he was a servant of Him, through and through. It burns within him like the holy fire anytime he goes to Church and hears the choir. Colby Brock is an angel. Colby Brock is a soldier for the war. Colby Brock hates demons.

They sat on the floor of the concert hall in the Stanley hotel, silently waiting for some activity. Around the room they had the Rem Pod, Music Box, Flashlights, Cat Balls, and the Spirit Box in front of them.
“If anyone is here with us could you make one of our devices go off?” Sam asked after a minute. He looked over to Colby only to see his friend with his head down, his hands over his eyes as if he were in pain. “You good brother?”
“Yeah. I just got a terrible headache though.” Sam scooted closer and began to massage the man’s head. “Thanks man.”
“No prob. This place is so weird.” He looked around at the equipment only to see that none of it had yet gone off.
“I know right? I’ve felt sick all night but we haven’t caught anything!” He relaxed a bit more in Sam’s arms when suddenly every piece of equipment went off. “HOLY SHIT!” They both jumped up, still hanging on to the other. “This is so weird!” All of the devices shut back off in a smooth wave moving from right to left.
“I know right?!” They stood still, waiting for something else to happen but the devices remained off. “How about we get out of here?” He offered after seeing his friend’s pale face next to him.
“Yeah…That might help. Thanks dude.”
“Always. I love you, Colby.”
“I love you too, Sam.”

Anyone, who is over 18+ (sorry for those, who are not 18 yet, I'm trying to play it safe here)
How are the matches for the Exchange decided?
The matches will be decided based on the sign-up form that includes likes/dislikes when it comes to both reading and writing, so everyone can be comfortable with both creating and reading the fic.
How will I receive the match for the Exchange?
When completing the sign-up, you will be asked to write down your e-mail as well (preferably the one you use for fandom related stuff). This way, I will be able to send the matches.
