1. Vlogs
Vlogging is one of the most simplists things to do. Grab a camera and record! Whether it was the last day of school, your graduation or you showing your daily life anything can be made into a vlog type style.
2. Stupid/Funny Videos
To elaborate, you could record your friends putting makeup on you and failing miserably, you could record truth or dare videos with your friends, you could go out in public and start singing, anything that would sound really funny might actually be!
3. Food Challenges or Taste Tests
Maybe you really enjoy eating lollypops, and you want to put your taste buds to the test! See if you can guess a certain flavour of a specific food. Maybe you want to eat hot peppers, or make the weirdest sandwich possible; whatever it is, just be warned of risks, especially with peppers.
4. Challenge Videos
Let’s say a friend of yours wanted you to go up to a pizzaman and slap him in the face with pizza; now not saying you should do that but anything that could be considered a challenge might make a good video, here’s some examples to get you started: Ice Bath Challenge, Blindfold Drawing Challenge, Fitness Challenges, Bean Boozled, things like that.
5. AMV’s/ Best Moments etc.
Are you a fan of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst? Or Attack on Titan? If it’s a game, TV show, anime or anything that can be edited, you could make a video edit with clips from said media. Now I do editing quite frequently so I do understand many aspects of making a good AMV/GMV’s. Tip; Don’t have really long clips that take up the entire video, and have your own style, experiment, you might learn something!
6. Lyric Videos
Got a catchy song that you know the lyrics to? Make a video!
7. Compilations
Have you made lots of videos that have some key moments that you like? Make a compilation! This can also work with music and other medias.
8. Talks/Rants
Want to talk about a recent worldwide event? Want your opinion said? Rants and talks are the video thing for you. Just note that you can bring some unwanted attention.
9. How-To’s
Are your friends always asking how you made that four string braided bracelet? Make a video! There are likely other people wanting to know as well!
10. Cooking Videos
If you enjoy cooking and you think you have a recipe worth giving out then you can make cooking videos. If you are like me and you don’t know how to cook, you can make a parody of how to cook.
11. Beauty Videos
Clothes, makeup or hair; if you know how to make your hair look good and want to show the world do it. If you know how to make your eyes look smokey do it. If you can set up outifts or just to hauls then there you go, videos.
12. Tech Videos
In the world, many people do not know how to use their Apple earbuds right, did they know that their is more than pausing and changing the volume? If you are tech smart then show people how you work your magic; from freeing up space on your computer or, what is social media? - old peoples guide.
13. Gaming VIdeos
There is plently of gaming videos out there, but if you can come out with content first (playing a game no one has played or a game that is just starting to get big), or make it unique; then you could give yourself a hit.
14. Musical Covers/Dances
Can you play an instrument? Can you sing? Or dance? Even if you don’t have the ability to do these things well it’s still fun to try. Try making a simple choreography and showing people how to do it. You can sing to songs and upload that, or play an insturment and upload that.
15. Skills
Got them skills in parkour? Skills in sports? Any skills can be recorded and seen in awe.
16. Skits
Like making your own little plays? Record it and get some feedback!
17. Dumbest Things
Record yourself doing something stupid, because that is what goes viral; ok not really but what I mean is if someone is going to do something stupid, record it and you may make a viral video.
18. Behind the Scenes
This can work if you recorded a music video or something where you had a set or a prep area. This way people can see the people helping out and how everything is set up to look the way it did.
