Hello, I sincerely hope you're doing well, I just wanted to say I've been rereading a bunch of your works recently, and I absolutely love your writing.

You absolutely changed I think my life, and i first found you (through Godspeed, of course) at a difficult time in my life, and idk the way you write the characters brought me so much comfort in that time, so i dreaded rereading for a minute in the worry that it will bring up painful memories, but i did reread, and its brought me only joy and comfort, and (pain at the angsty bits, but thats par for the course really, in this house we love angst). You're absolutely my favourite author and like its silly but its suddenly so important to me that you know that !

Thank you for sharing your writing with the world, you're so amazing, and sorry if this is like worded weirdly im so emotional atm and ive never sent an ask before lol.

And even if you never post another work again (god knows creative hobbies are as painful as they can be rewarding, as an artist I understand the absolute lows, i havent picked up a penicl in a few years), I just wanted to let you know that your work had so much impact, and im so grateful for what youve given us.

hey quags! i'm just writing to say that i've been going through a major art block for the past few months. it's been very rough i wont lie. So in my desperate attempt to find the last shred of motivation in me, i go to my ao3 history in the hopes of making some art inspired by fics! lo and behold i come across godspeed in my history and i just have to thank you for breaking my art block. after re-reading ur fic i've drawn some art based on a few scenes and although they're not detailed, i drew something, period! so i just wanted to say thanks for bringing me some life back, i can't put into words how much i needed this.

Hello! Pardon the awkwardness of this note, I don't quite know how to articulate this without sounding completely unhinged. I had stumbled upon your fic, godspeed, due to viria's fanart and spent the past 2 days reading it. I genuinely could not stop, it was at the forefront of my mind since I passed out reading it at around 4 am and I finished 20 minutes ago at 12 am. Your writing is phenomenal.

I adored Byleth's character, his and Sothis' relationship, his relationship with everyone really, and all the arcs they went through. The running gag of his "obliviousness" and the Dimileth relationship coupled with the utter seriousness of the upcoming war and everyone's internal struggle. The emotions of every POV are so visceral. The motivations of each character, particularly Byleth's and Rhea's, were a delight to read, and the reactions to them. The fate of Edelgard leading up to that after chapters of everyone calling for her head, utterly delightful. I look forward to what happens next.

But I did not write this to demand a new chapter or ask for an update regarding the fic, I just wanted to say that you are an amazing writer and this work of yours is utterly brilliant. I'm new to the Fandom and Fe3h in general, but you write them so well that I was never lost at any point. It was a captivating read, and I will reread again, thank you for sharing your story.

hihis i did my annual read of godspeed and just had to leave a note to say that i started reading the fic before i was even in high school and now i'm almost halfway through university so... damn. time really does flies lmao.

anywhosies, i think it'd be kinda funny if the next chapter was the timeskip and it's posted EXACTLY five years after the last update... no..? just me? alright...

okay but fr though, you're an awesome writer and your fic helped me through a rough time. so it doesnt really matter to me if godspeed is never updated again or if it's fully out tomorrow- i think all that really matters to me is knowing that one of my favourite creators is doing well and is continuing to write!! so thank you for sharing your writing with the world. that 13 year old kid from five years ago appreciated it then, and they appreciate it even more now :D
