Well you said to ask you anything but here goes. Hi Mr. Bendis. Im a writer, artist and aspiring film maker from TRINIDAD in the CARIBBEAN. Our region, and my country has no say in the world, we're tiny, we do not matter. How the hell do I even begin to break into the comic industry? Art is all I wanna do with my life and at 20 years old, this whole thing just seems hopeless
I hear this all the time. repeat after me: nothing is standing in your way. your dreams are doable. others have done it, you can too!
if you have the tools to reach me then you hsve the tools to reach anyone. you have paper, start creating. if it sucks, it will, then think about why and do it again. eventually it won’t suck.
I was a little kid in Cleveland sitting in my room wondering the same thing you are! I even did a ted talk about it.
up, here comes the ted talk again… :)

Black Panther – The Ultimate Guide Written by Stephen Wiacek 200 pages Published by DK books
Just in time for the February movie, DK’s Black Panther The Ultimate Guide is hot off the presses and they were kind enough to send me a copy to review.
Love the Stelfreeze cover, the black and white and red really catches your eye. If you’ve been intrigued by the movie’s trailers, especially how they showcase Wakanda and the colourful cast of characters, this is the guide you want to get your hands on.
The book kicks off with a great foreword by Bronze Age writer, Don McGregor, who provides insight into the richness of the world he and Rich Buckler fleshed out and deepened. In less than 200 pages, author Stephen Wiacek dives right into the Black Panther’s world and impressive rogues’ gallery. Wiacek demonstrates he’s done his homework in his pain-stakingly chronicling of the Black Panther’s exploits over the last 52 years. The 2-page landscape spreads really stand out as visual feast.
To be honest, I haven’t kept up with T’Challa’s adventures since Priest was writing his title, so this guide was a great way to catch up on his latest storylines and changes.
The Black Panther – The Ultimate Guide is solid way for DK to kick off what will no doubt be a great Marvel Comics movie year!
