to be honest, this was one of the best scenes and lines in the movie.
He was thinking about it. He was seriously getting doubts there more than ever before. The man has been cracking for months and it was slowly starting to show. Man, i love this story and these characters.
I definitely have muse for both Quaritch and Jake, now!

The annoyance of this one before him was getting to be too much, and he was about to snap with a rage that could rival these feral beasts. What did that make of him, though, he had to wonder...?

"Now, that's no way to talk to anyone, little lady..." It was meant to be slightly demeaning, in a playful way, but there was quite literally the fact that he was several feet taller than her. Clearly, this meant that he could poke fun at their size differences, and the amusement at her course language was showing in the way his eyes squinted a little with some excitement. "Clearly, there must be some misunderstanding..."

"... That." He gestured to the other's face, and then away. "You're looking like you've been having a rough week, but all in a single second. Stop brooding." Quaritch was only half-kidding, as he was somewhat wondering why the other looked so glum. Well, besides the obvious situation between them that really needs no mentioning. "So, what's on your mind? You can tell me, you know."

Quaritch stared the other one down, ears pinned back against the sides of his head, and he also had a knife in hand. All other weapons from before had either run out of ammo, or just became simply useless in face of someone who had the same sort of training as himself. Or, well... the old me. To be quite honest, the human-hybrid-na'vi was still trying to understand most of everything, and especially himself.
"Huh... Funny thing, that." He had thought about it, briefly, from time-to-time, and of how the others that were back on the main base looked at him, or how they treated him. Yes, he was on their side, certainly, but they sometimes did not act that way. If he were to make a noise, a hiss, something that just was not 'human', they would tense up around him, talk rapidly, or even fumble with their footing or things they carry. It was both amusing, and something he had taken note of more recently.
"You know. I kinda don't really give a damn if the humans end up here, or not. It was just the mission assigned to me, and I was to see it through." He sighed, still at the ready to attack, even while the other seemed to be relaxing just a bit. "But you like to ruin everything, don't you."

He glanced over, and was honestly surprised that something so bold was done, but he didn't have any anger over it. A bit annoyed, yes, and he made that known with the slightly flick of his ears, and a short frown as he stared. "Alright. What is it..."
