So I know it’s not technically Sunday anymore but we can be soft any day of the week so let’s do this! I kinda combined both of these I hope you don’t mind that 🖤

You born wanted a dog. And since you lived together, it seemed like the perfect idea. Of course you had to go with a shelter dog.

There were many options to choose from, but in the end there was this cute little puppy who ran up to Chris and started licking her all over. It then ran over to you and did the same thing.

Needless to say, you choose that dog. You decide to name him after Chris’s old dog that she worked with in the canine unit, since you knew how much that dog had impacted her life (she cried when you suggested it but immediately agreed).

And so you bring the puppy home. It’s allowed on all the furniture of course. And it absolutely loves to go back and forth between your lap and Chris’s.

Which is endearing but also slightly annoying when you’re both just trying to watch something together.

The solution to this, you soon discover, is to simply watch whatever it is in your bedroom. Where your dog can lay between the two of you. All nicely cuddled in.

- chris has different forms of affection she tends to lend more towards when it comes to you. of course, it comes down to what makes you comfortable in any setting. that being said, if a type of affection makes you uncomfortable, she knows to back off and ask you what you would be comfortable with

- hand holding is a form of affection that chris likes to show. whether the two of you are out and about for the day or just sitting at home and watching movies or a tv show, chris will always grab you hand to hold. it’s a simple form of affection, one that doesn’t draw too much attention. plus, chris can say that you’ve never wondered away from her in a crowd or in a store because she always attached to you.

- on the rare off days chris does get, she’s always spending them with you. the two of you get to do the things that you had put off, like going to do some sightseeing or just cuddling at home. 

- when it’s just the two of you, relaxing at home, you can always find chris curled up in you lap as a movie plays in the background. chris is usually the one invested in the movie, but you are running your fingers through her hair or playing with her fingers.
