God I'm with you I HATE those "real life Disney princesses" photosets. Like why are people so obsessed with torturing women and small animals?

That's the same way I feel. It seems so weird to say "yes, here are characters that ended their narrative happy, but let's make them "real" by putting them in abusive and awful situations."It's very indicative.
