I’ve gotten the weaving bug now that it’s summer and my winter crochet stash on Etsy is decent.  I love the Rya Knot look wall hanging.  Reminds me of the shag carpet my parents had in their bedroom.

She’s taking a bit longer to finish but I love her colors; colors I haven’t used together before.  My hubby says it looks like I’m pouring sand into my loom.  I think that’s what I’ll call her when she’s finished.

A Gift for Me!

I went to visit my parents last summer.  I arrived with a homemade loom and a few finished projects.  It was hard to work without a heddle bar.  I showed my Mom my creations which she liked.  I told her I may get a “real” loom as I thought it would be easier.  I visited for about three weeks and had the best time.  My parents are fun and silly!!!  Low and behold a week or so later I get a box in the mail.  It was a “real” loom!!!!!  Even though I was so excited, I was a bit apprehensive.  Looming was hard..............at first.  Now, I picked the loom back up and having a stellar time.  Thanks Mom!!!!!

I came across this neat DIY tutorial from Dabbles & Babbles to make aluminum crochet hooks more ergo-friendly by wrapping with polymer clay. Don'cha just love? 😍

She’s Done!!!!!!!!!!!

She was easy..........to complete.  She was a loom weave with a ton of Rya knot.  I’m very proud of her since she’s my only one.   I have another one but I’m just waiting till the stain is dried.  But for now, here she is........a beauty full of conversational colors.  Muah! Hope you like her as much as I do.

Fini!!!!!!

I am finally finished with one of my inspirations.  It’s a dreamy creation with a dreamcatcher square foundation and an adorbs lacy ecru edging.  I wear all of my creations around the house for about an hour to see if they “work”.  She made me feel so fancy.  I can’t wait to ship her off to a lucky Etsy buyer.  Fini!
