Wow, didn’t realise I hadn’t posted an update on this in a while. Anyway, the colourwork is completed & I’ve put a lifeline in before I start the ribbing. I am sooo close…..
Knitted a cowl based on my Unicorn Hunt sweater!
I have both the pattern for it and the actual cowl listed on my Etsy!
And the pattern is also on Ravelry.
Finished up another Christmas present! A baking cowl for my mom who is a great chef and baker. I'm so happy with how the mixer turned out!
I have a few pieces on Etsy still available if anyone is looking for handmade items for Christmas gifts.
Rustic Pines Cowl, a free crochet pattern designed by Kelsie Weeks on Ravelry.
"This beautiful cowl uses a fun cable stitch to create the effect of trees."
Yeah so this was the shawl I knit last year with my one skein of discount bin yarn. The pattern is “Good Day Sunshine” by Amanda Bjoerge, on ravelry.
The yarn is Lana Grossa, Cool Wool Lace, Hand Dyed. It’s 100% Merino wool, and I thought the colors were fun.
There was some pink left over so I made a little cowl.
The cowl pattern is “Kelvin-Helmholtz Waves Cowl” by Dory Ferguson, on ravelry.
So that’s two projects out of one discount yarn.
Had to take a quick pause on other knitting projects to whip up this cute little cowl. My Aunt sent me the pattern inspo and I hunted it down on Ravelry. I just don't have the brain power or patience to be making up patterns like this anymore... haha. Used an old skein of Patons sock yarn I had laying around. Perfect stripes and a great colorway!

McFarlane Toys is continuing to bring the comic book and cinematic legacy of the Dark Knight to life with stunning 1:3 scale replicas of the most iconic cowls, masks, and helmets from the Batman mythos!
Take a look at the fifth series of collectibles I’ve tracked down, which all stand 7” tall and include an informative display stand:
Azrael Batman: Knightfall (1993) [CHASE Platinum Edition] 📘
Batman Beyond (1999) 📺
Red Hood – Batman: Three Jokers (2020) 💥
