I’ve been back in Devon a month today. It’s definitely been a rollercoaster and I’ve had to learn very quickly to accept help from others.
Ive finally started to heal - both emotionally and physically - this week i conquered the road that nearly killed me and next week I’ll conquer getting behind the wheel again.
2018... nope
At the end of 2018 I was in quite a severe car accident that I was so lucky to walk away from.
I’ve ended up with no car, several broken bones and a very screwed up head.
2019 will be getting off to a pretty rubbish start, I’ve got a lot of physical healing and physio to go through but I’m also going to have a lot of mental pain that will need healing. My doctors have recommended that I see a therapist for a little while until I’m feeling better but I don’t even know if I’ll be able to cope with it

I hate my body. It’s always letting me down
It feels like autumn came quick this year. Two weeks ago I was basking in sunshine in Cornwall, tonight I’m sat out with a blanket.
I’ve seen and done some amazing things this summer with the most wonderful people. The kind of people who would do anything, be anyone for you. I’m so lucky to be surround by truly fantastic people.
This summer was filled with sunshine, laughter and memories I will hold dear for the rest of my life.
Summer of 2018 has been astounding.
What a difference a week makes. What they don’t tell you about having all your wisdom teeth removed in one go is how much pain you’ll actually be in. I still can’t smile properly and only moved on to solid foods yesterday but last week I was sure I’d never eat again.
Embracing the freckle life. The happiest I’ve been in such a long time
