If the band's guitarist looks like this
then you know the music's gonna hit.
QUEEN - SCANDAL
Filmed at Pinewood Studios, London (Sept 27th, 1989)
“The song unfortunately failed to generate much airplay, but with help from Queen’s UK record company releasing no fewer than six versions of the single, the band’s most faithful fans helped it get to a respectable number 25 in the national singles charts.”
“(,,,) It was a pretty serious song – not serious in the sense that I think it’s that great (laughs), but in that there was a lot of reality in the lyrics for me… I don’t think it’s totally successful, this video, as a portrayal of what’s in the song. It’s a kind of brave attempt, but it’s a little cold, and you don’t really see the band interacting as a band. It’s a bit stagey. But at least it makes you think of what the song’s really about.” - Brian May (2003)
bohemian rhapsody - 2018 we’re playing for the other misfits. they’re the outcasts, right at the back of the room. we’re pretty sure they don’t belong either. we belong to them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN DEACON !
↳ August 19th, 1951.
“If I could tell the future, life would be quite boring, I think.”
“I like touring, I like being in the studio, a bit of both. I like to have a bit of time at home as well.”
“He’s sort of quiet, lots of people think that. Don’t underestimate him, he’s got a fiery streak underneath all that. I talk so much anyway, he likes to let me do all the talking. But once people crack that thin ice, then he’s alright.“- Freddie Mercury
