I thought I would share with you the evolution of my tfios fan art, that then expanded into a panorama that encompassed John’s core four.
It took me about 4 days, and I got about a cover done a day. I’ve never done digital painting on this level before, and was constantly surprised at the results as I was drawing this (especially the flower).
If you’re interested in buying a poster I would suggest following me here on tumblr. I’ll certainly be vocal about it if I work it out. And who knows, if all goes well, maybe I’ll do more stuff like this in the future.
This is freaking awesome.
For those of you that still don’t know, you can grab these as posters from the dftba store. If you buy the whole set, you get $8 off.
The best quotes from John Green.

My posters are now available for pre-order! Check ‘em out. Looking For Alaska An Abundance of Katherines Paper Towns The Fault in our Stars
And if you buy them all, you get $8 off in the checkout :)
I’m going to be doing more stuff like this in the future, so if you like this, I’d recommend following me here on tumblr.
“Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.” - John Green
Though The Fault in Our Stars is still over two months away from release, Fox 2000 is already planning the next John Green book they’ll bring to the big screen: Paper Towns.
The studio is moving ahead with a Paper Towns movie and will bring back the same team that wrote and produced Fault for Fox. That means screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber are writing the script, and Wyck Godfrey is returning to produce. Green will executive produce – a title he did not have on Fault, though he was very present on set.
In addition, Deadline reports that the film will be designed around Nat Wolff (pictured above) starring as Quentin. The actor has the role of Isaac in Fault and was last seen in Stuck in Love, directed by Fault helmer Josh Boone.

"It’s so hard for anyone to show us how we look, and so hard for us to show anyone how we feel."

Today the absolutely best thing happened. My friend, who was in a coma for almost 11 months, woke up. I was in the middle of my exam when I got the voice mail “Tamara, come to the hospital, it’s really important.” My mother was talking really weird so my first thought was the worst happened, but on the contrary - today is the best day of my life. I ran to the hospital and there she was, waiting for me. Wide awake. She started to react to her new medication and she simply woke up! I didn’t know it would happen so fast. I still can’t believe it. :) Here’s a story I’d like to share. A few months ago I was reading her paper towns and on the part when Ben pees in a bottle she was kind of smiling. After that, reading paper towns became our thing, it was really nice to see her ‘react’ somehow. I read it probably 15-20 times and never got tired of it. The first thing she said to me today was “could you read me paper towns one last time please?” and that’s when I knew that all of this time she could hear me. I’m still half sobbing but I’m so happy words can’t explain. John is my favorite author since I can remember, but today he became even more dear to my heart. This book has a whole new meaning for me now. Thank you John!!! :)
This needs to be spread around so john green sees this.
