Been a hater of Mike Flanagan since Hill House - he is scared of the gothic, he is scared of the implications of abuse within the family unit, he cannot fathom a narrative that does not spell itself out in a monologue - killing him with hammers!!!!! Get away from Carrie you don't deserve her!!!!!!!

nooo gothic horror is when there's an old house and the lighting is so dark and dreary you can't see anything except.... maybe a ghost in the background?!?!? he's actually a genius visionary, you see, and he elevates every stupid outdated horror property he touches.

i was unbelievably stoked to get a gob commission. one thing about me. and i don't need to say this and i probably SHOULDN'T say this. but one thing about me is that i was severely depressed in college. and for a solid.... three months? i would watch the gob bluth bi bi bi edit on youtube at least twenty times every day. i was hopelessly dependent on the gob bluth bi bi bi edit. i'd watch it when i woke up, as soon as i got back from class, as i was sobbing and hitting my head against the wall..... i was so obsessed with the gob bluth bi bi bi edit i'd start crying in ANTICIPATION of getting to watch it. anyways.
