I draw a lot of fan art with some original work. This site serves primarily as my art blog but since I've also been doing some writing a little more often these days, I will be posting updates on that from now on as well :) You can check out my AO3 here!
If you'd like to see my art, click on my #qooky art tag!
I also have some shops on Redbubble and INPRNT where I have a few stickers and prints.
If you'd like to know a little bit more about me and my process, feel free to check out my FAQ page as well or send me an ask!
"There's a whole world beyond your borders, whole tribes of people just as good as you, and it is all in danger. It's a world worth fighting for. Not just here. Everywhere." - Aloy, Horizon Zero Dawn
Personal post under the cut:
This piece not only represents my headcanons for Aloy based on my observations in Horizon playthroughs, but also my tentative relationship with my self-concept of sexuality.
Full disclosure, I don't celebrate Pride Month. Previously, it was due to religious reasons, which, if you were around during the late 2010s, didn't exactly fare well for me when I shared what I thought were immovable, concrete beliefs on the subject.
Fast forward to the mid 2020s, two fandoms later, new friends, new career, new learnings, new connections, etc, and those supposed "immoveable, concrete beliefs" have since changed into something much more amorphous, more considerate and more compassionate. I say I don't celebrate it merely out of lack of spoons, taste, however you may call energy now: I spend enough of it observing Christmas, New Year's, Easter, All Saints' Day and many birthdays.
But that's just me. I know what Pride represents for many people so I'm not here to hark on it or to discourage folks from observing it themselves. I just wanted to be honest. This piece for me, marks something of a declaration. That over the past few years, I've opened myself up to fully sharing that joy and happiness with those who experience it, whether it's a new relationship, a new identity, or even freedom from oppressive situations--all under zero pretenses; as well as being willing to defend my fellow human beings from discrimination and harmful ideologies and behaviors.
"You will know them by their fruit." - Matthew 7:20
It's been a long road from where I once was on the topic of pride and queer identity. Pride, as defined as "overconfidence in oneself, lack of humility, etc." is still significant for me, but I also am aware that this month is not about that. It's about cherishing all human beings, regardless of sexuality, race, identity, etc. It's a response against tyranny, against that desire for domination and control.
After all, everyone is made in the image of God. We are all precious in His sight and we are all meant to live in harmony and peace with one another.
I do not know everything, I might not get everything right—after all, I am only human— but that does not stop me from trying anyway.
If you have any questions or desire clarity about this, please feel free to send me an ask over here on my personal blog. I will not entertain questions on this one for organizational reasons, but I'd love to answer you :)
Am I attempting a Witch Hat Atelier AU for Horizon?…
Yes I am.
(had to make up an entirely new creature to justify the outfit choices though)

Some original lore below the cut:
On the Nora:
The Nora exist as an indigenous group that live along the base of the mountains past the northern boundaries of the Zozah Peninsula, far from the jurisdiction of the Land of the Pact. They see magic as integral to their culture, particularly those related to healing and protection. But because they treat motherhood as a sacred process not to be interfered with, any magic involving reproduction or the creation of life is forbidden.
Silverwood trees are uncommon in the area but because of their nature to take over their hosts, only qualified individuals (i.e. those that accomplish the Proving ritual ) are allowed to make use of their wood and ink, becoming apprentices under Matriarchs and experienced Braves.
On Aloy:
Aloy is a motherless woman, originally found as a baby deep in the Sacred Mountain, and is therefore treated as an outcast and raised by Rost. Her status is only further exacerbated when she discovers magic too early in life. Rost instructs her not to rely on her magic when preparing her for the Proving.
Unbeknownst to any of them, Aloy was created through the forbidden use of magic and blood from a mysterious source.
But when evidence of her origins arise, Aloy sets out on a journey south to discover her roots, avoiding the Knights Moralis and their conflict with the Brimmed Caps whenever she can.
Aside from being a skilled hunter, Aloy also is experienced in light and wind magic, having filled her spear with glyphs to aid her in battle. She often brings forth bows and arrows made of a mix of wind and light and has seals tattooed on her palms to summon such weapons. But she also carries with her the usual pen, paper and ink.
On snowy mammoths:
Creatures that only live in the far north and on white capped mountain peaks, snowy mammoths are highly valued and respected by the Nora because of their matriarchal and maternal instincts. Their coats are made of feathers rather than fur, coming in various color patterns. Their ears are actually small but the length of feathers make them appear long and large. Their tusks are shaped like talons of prey birds and their trunks end with a sharp tip.
When threatened, they raise their trunks high in the air, and spread their ears wide to intimidate their foes. Some have noticed their displays resemble the silhouette of the legendary Stormbird said to live even deeper in the blizzard-ridden peaks further north.
Though considered near-sacred, the Nora still hunt them from time to time especially during periods of scarcity. But hunters always pay their respects before making the killing blow, and no part of the mammoth is wasted. Only older or weaker individuals are targeted.
Pokedexy Challenge 2026 Day 11: Favorite Normal Type
Before: Teddiursa
After: Bewear
I didn’t have an immediate favorite Normal type prior to Gen VII, though I thought Teddi was cute. But then in came the giant, back-crushing, walking, red panda plushie who instantly stole my heart.
Pokedexy Challenge 2026 Day 9: Favorite Grass Type
Before: Torterra and Roserade
After: Decidueye and Roserade
I still have a soft spot for the flamboyant Roserade but as soon as Decidueye’s design was initially revealed, I knew I’d found my new favorite grass pokemon.
Pokedexy Challenge 2026 Day 8: Favorite Ghost Type
Before: Litwick
After: Giratina
Just something about a Pokemon-equivalent of the Devil.... not to mention how well they were used in Legends Arceus, brought this Pokemon to the top of my Ghost list.
Something about those calm eyes really got to me. I love the mage aesthetic on Delphox but I realize now if I had to choose between these two, I’ll go for H. Typhlosion 🔥
Pokedexy Challenge 2026 Day 6: Favorite Fighting Type
Late cuz of course, but anyway. Gallade was on the top spot for awhile, but since I set the limit to primary typing, he had to make way for my favorite duck knight 😆
Pokedexy Challenge 2026 Day 4: Favorite Electric Type
Luxray and Raichu.
I originally chose Luxray for this entry but then remembered how way back I really, really liked Raichu. So they get the spotlight together this time hehe
