“Who am I supposed to believe? The tree?” Antonio tried to keep a stern look on his feature but only found himself breaking into a fit of laughter at how stupid he just sounded. “Okay, amigo I’ll let you off the hook.”

Thank god. That was the last time Klaus would test out a spell in public. He can’t risk setting important people on fire. “Hahahahahaha... yeah...” He stood there awkwardly, not sure if he should run off or not. This guy was someone important, yeah? Would it be really rude to just run off?

“Lost? Haha, of course not.” Lovino’s words were followed with a nervous chuckle. He refused to say that they were likely indeed lost.

Klaus looked around at his surroundings. Tall trees, dim, kind of scary, and incredibly unfamiliar. “...I think we’re lost...” He replied. He looked up, it had to be early afternoon, but barely any light shown through the trees. He looked down and squinted at his map. So much for his “shortcut”. How far had they traveled in? “Do you... remember which way we came from?”
