Last Monday, we threw an epic #NPS100 party at Brooklyn Bridge Park. It joins the ranks of so many other great days I've had the honor of having at this job. It's all so unreal. I can't begin to get my head around everything that happened last week.

All variations of the trailers aside, this Twenty One Pilots single for the “Suicide Squad” soundtrack has me fixated. The video feels vaguely reminiscent of “Thirteen Ghosts,” or that could be just me.

Final day in @ZionNPS. Had a chance to make it out to see Kolob Canyons this afternoon before heading out. My brain isn’t ready to trade the dwarfing sensation of the canyons for the towering skyline of DC. I’m so moved by the beauty of this place and the incredible people I’ve met who are dedicated to protecting these places… I don’t know how else to put it: I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. #NPFintheParks

I knew I'd be in a remote part of the country, but it's sobering to realize that there are in fact places where you don't have connectivity 24/7. What a strange and incredible feeling! Sharing this from the comfort of a cooled cafe in Springdale. Learning so much... So very overwhelmed by the wealth of information I'm absorbing. I'll share more later, but for now, greetings from #ZionNationalPark!

On any other day, this would be enough to make me whimper as I get out of bed… But not today! Day 1: setting out on the journey. Huzzah!

And then this happened. Ryan Gosling and his gorgeous pup, George. Good lookin' guys, cute dogs, and amazing National Parks. Can it get any better? I submit that it cannot!
