And 2024, here is the great average dragon (I think she’s peaked this year). There are only two unexalted dragons with this color pattern so I’ll see you guys in 20 years when my breeding project is finished lol.

The Boulder primary gene does unique things to pearlcatcher pearls. Boulder on the left, Basic (and the default white pearl) on the right.

hey just a quick statement, specifically in regards to the whole obelisk flair ordeal

Please remember that the Flight Rising staff are still just people. People make mistakes, things go wrong, etc. 

it’s ok to be upset about what happened, but it’s not ok to be a dick towards the staff about it.

I just gotta say I bought this dragon to look like the first image, not the second.

I know they’re just pixels but I don’t like when things are switched up on me with seemingly little or no warning and with little choice (besides the poll, the options in which I feel are too drastic for lack of a better word). I don’t really pay attention to gene discourse or the suggestions forum or whatever, so while I noticed that the color of the mane was different, I had no indication that the staff was going to fix it. I just think this is a weird way to deal with this problem.

For the record, I think the old Flair on Obes looks lovely even if it’s not consistent (I mean there’s a lot of problems with gene consistency throughout the breeds if I’m not mistaken, was there seriously so much uproar about it that it necessitated changing like this?). 

Edit: ohh I see what happened from Undel’s post on the forums, but still ??? I appreciate the staff and all they do for us, but the original “mistake” could’ve been just left alone.
