Sheâs bleed more than she ever really has before. Her father watches, stony faced, Red before her with a glowing staff saber, similar to Mikes, helmet discarded and a crazed grin on his lips. She was so close to the edge, breath ragged as she slowly gets up, standing and wipes the blood from her split lip. She should have known the boyâs would leave her alone after finding out who she was. She should have known. But fuck it, you want something done right, do it yourself. She would do this.
She steels herself, and as Red rushes to her, she makes a snap decision last second to duck and fling her fist into his gut. He makes a noise, a mixture between surprised and in pain, curling around her fist. She takes the moment to grab a hold of him with both hands, twirling and throws him at the screen of her father, and a window, plummeting down a few stories. Thankfully, not enough to kill him. Sheâs not sure if she wants that on her conscious.
The redhead rubs at her arm, Deluxian clothing torn, burned, bloodied and the peeks of flesh show bruises and lacerations and burns and wiltsâŠshe makes a strangled noise, slowly turning, to come face to face with her- noâŠthe Burners. She stares Mikey in the eye, and he looks both distraught andâŠ
She huffs, amber eyes glowing as she stares at him. He takes a step to her, and she lets out a hiss as a warning. Telling him to back off. That she doesnât need his shit right now. He stops advancing, holding his hands up, offering her a smile.
ââŠYouâŠlook like you can use some help.â The emotion drains from her face, neutral and uncaring.
ââŠMaybe.â A spark of hope lights in his eyes, but his face falls slightly as she turns away.
âNot from you. Iâd rather do this shit by myself, thanks.â Her toneâs biting, cold. She makes her way to the window, glancing down at the motionless, unconscious Red, before casting a glance back at them.
âIâm done with you. Done depending on you, and lying for you. Youâll have your peace, but we are /not/ friends.â
âNo.â She growls, turning back to him with eyes alight with such fury that Chuckles whimpers from itâs force.
âIâll never understand why I had to meet /you/. Why you, the one person I depended onâŠthe one person I thought had my back, turned tail and fled like a dog when he realized who I was. You hurt me, all of you did, in more ways than one. Have your fucking freedom, but there is /no way/ I am ever, ever, coming back.â She finishes her spiel, face contorted into a look of pure anger and hatred, fury and malice mixed within her eyes. She huffs one last time, before turning tail and stalking off, preferably to stop her father.
