I've been practicing people lately and ended up particularly happy with this one. :)

This picture is more or less what ALD would liken to if I worked on updates until I was satisfied with them. But this picture is also an example of why I don’t work until I’m satisfied with ALD: It takes way too long. I spent 15 hours over the course of 4 days simply doing this background, and often stayed up late into the night doing so. I’m happy with it, but it’s been a helpful reminder to not exhaust myself.

In other news, I’ll be moving over the course of the next few weeks, so I may not be on tumblr too often. Unfortunately I haven’t completed the 4 updates I wanted to this past week, which may lead to an absence of an update for a week or two until I get settled, but I’ll try my best. Thank you guys for sticking with me.

I was actually tagged in something else recently as well, and since I am a fairly boring person, and no random facts are immediately coming to mind, I'll think I'll answer the first five questions of that tag. I hope that's okay... ^^'

Alrighty then...

1.) What's your worst habit?

I have this annoying tic where I mess with my hair a lot.

2.) When did you last travel abroad?

I went to Canada once on a grocery trip

3.) If you could learn any skill instantly, what would it be?

Public speaking. 

4.) Who would you take a bullet for?

Pretty much anyone, really. I don't know. I think everyone has merit, I wouldn't not save someone from taking a bullet, even if that meant sacrificing myself in the process. Everyone I have ever met has been pretty damn amazing in one way or another, and if I ever had to make a choice between taking my life and taking someone else's, I don't think I would even hesitate.

5.) What is your favorite kind of weather?

Mid 60s to high 70s, pretty much California weather.

Something done for a friend of mine’s blog anniversary and also birthday, both of which happened to coincide within 24 hours of each other. :)

Creepy little critter design for a MLP comic idea that never really took off. It feeds off secrets. Adapted from vampire bats and mind parasites, it instills doubt, causing the host to keep more secrets. The creature would continue to do this until either insanity or death claimed the host.

In retrospect, it's very reminiscent of changelings.

Blog Decision

Many thanks to CelestiaWept2, Meleagridis, Author-Man, and HobbsMeerkat for their input! It really helps a lot to know what you guys think, especially when a decision impacts you all as well as me.

In the end, this blog is still my artblog, so I'll be keeping it art-related. However, it's not going to be completely formal in the sense that I'll be posting conversations and unpolished art pieces as well as polished artwork here. I may post the comics or doodles I do during the day. I'll probably talk to people using this blog (most likely full-length discussions, not one-sentence liners). 

Most reblogs, however, are going to continue being kept on this blog rather than here.

A Question

For some time I've had two blogs; this one, for posting sketches and art unrelated to Ask-Little-Derpy, and that one, which I use for talking with other users and posting things that don't fall under the category "art" or Derpy"

I was planning to merge the other blog into this one, forming a modblog so I'd have more chances to interact with my followers more. But because I originally set up this blog purely as an art blog, I want to know what you guys think before I do anything.

Would you like to see this blog become a modblog? Or would you rather have it kept as an artblog?

Reposting this here for several reasons, but mainly because I will be removing the first three pictures from the original site. This specific update has been bothering me for a while and as I have continued to develop Vinny's character, I've realized that such a blatant reveal is not like her.

Usually I try not to edit previous posts in an effort to keep the blog moving and save time, but as I've progressed I've realized the pieces can't correctly fit into place because of this moment. So, the first three pictures will be taken down. I'll keep them here, but as a moment out of the storyline.
