Firstly, I want to say an enormous thank you to everyone who has posted, interacted with, and followed this account in the last 11 (fucking hell) years. MLP was one of the first fandoms I ever joined, and I just want to thank everyone for making me feel a part of the community.
I'm not going to be posting any more ALD content. Partly because I have no time, but also partly because I've forgotten how I wanted the story to end. If anyone wants to ask any questions, you're more than welcome to ask me.
I wasn't very smart starting this tumblr — when I first started this blog, it was the first time I joined the site. As a result, this ALD blog is my primary tumblr, and thus makes it difficult to interact as a typical tumblr user. I've had many people respond to my asks wondering why a pony was in their inbox — a funny few moments to be sure, but not something I necessarily want to define my tumblr persona.
So, starting from a week from today, I am going to use this blog as a more generic tumblr blog; to repost, respond, and possibly even post my own art from time to time. I will also be reposting the ALD posts on an archive tumblr, so anyone who wants to look at them without other clutter can view them there. All of the posts there are scheduled, so they should show up over the next few days. I'm more than happy to answer any questions that anyone may have.
I don't know how many of you are still out there and active. But I wanted to say thank you in any case. The ALD blog was one of the coolest things I could be a part of, and it was all thanks to ya'll. This blog has spawned wonderful fan art, fan translations, discussions, and excitement for a lot of people, and that was always something that made me feel immense joy — That I could create something that would make so many people feel the urge to create themselves. Above all, I just wanted to say thank you.
((I just wanted to say that I am so freaking proud of you and I really freaking admire the fact that you are out there fulfilling your dreams. I am so super honored to have gotten to know you. I will miss you at school (epic art major friends like you are hard to come by!) but I know that you will be amazing doing what you love in a way you want to do it. <3 Happy New Years!))

That said, I guess I've been under a bit of stress lately because that finally did make me cry, haha. Thank you very much, I do not deserve wonderful things like that!
For the record, what happened at school today was purely my fault - I lost the hard drive that had our stuff on it (we built an Active Directory forest and I had the sole forest root domain controller blah blah blah) ... they never even got mad at me either.
