So, I have another very unpopular opinion as I'm rewatching "Camp Cretacious" (this time, for the sake of a fanfic I'm writing).

I'm probably gonna get booed and hated for this, but...I actually quite liked and enjoyed seasons 4 and 5 as much as the first 3 seasons.

Now, I will say that I do agree with some fans on a couple of things:

A) the Brookji romance...I hate it, as well, and I do agree that it felt pretty sudden, forced, and made no sense. That being said...when you really think about it, and actually pay attention to the episodes, nothing about that whole romance thing really happens, much. Hell, their first date didn't even happen, and the whole Kenji-and-his-dad thing completely interrupted things, anyway! So, really, the whole Brookji thing didn't officially start happening until after the show. And also, it was for nothing, anyway, because they broke up in season 1 of "Chaos Theory". So, yes, Brookji was not a good idea, but the way I see it...nothing really happened between them, anyway, so I honestly can't even be that mad about it.

B) The BRADs, and the complaints about there not being as many dinosaurs. Ok, so...was the focus on the BRADs a bit too much? Yes. They could have been dialed back, a bit. That being said...I do disagree about their not being as many dinosaurs. I think we actually saw just as much of them as every other season. As for the BRADs, we even see why they were constantly used.

I.... I'm sorry, but I just can't help but feel like some people watched the last two seasons with their eyes closed, and their ears covered. I feel like some people kinda overexaggerated when it came to the BRADs and the "lack" of dinosaurs.

I've even seen some people saying that it was like the show was purposely keeping the kids on the island. Ummm...which island are we speaking of, exactly? Because as we see throughout the last 2 seasons, there are two islands visited and brought up: Nublar, and the secret Mantah Corp island.

I love this show, and personally, I'm glad we got 5 seasons + "Chaos Theory" where we get to see the Nublar Six grow and become adults.

Soo...very unpopular opinion I'm about to give, but...I finished watching season 3 of "Chaos Theory", and...I can't help but feel like I'm the only one who actually likes Brooklynn's redesign.

I feel like a lot...a lot...of people are either forgetting or not realizing that people - yes, even fictional characters - change their looks when they grow up.

We gotta remember, Brooklynn completely moved on from being the 13-year old vlogging influencer that she was in "Camp Cretacious", and that for all we know, pink could've been her favorite color. But, as one grows and gets older, tastes change. Style changes. Adult Brooklynn wanted an edgier look in "Chaos Theory". Big whoop. I think the edgier style and the different-colored short and dyed hair suits her, and her adult lifestyle. Trauma could've also played a part in these physical changes, but mostly, Brooklynn just...grew up.

I swear, these days, it's like some people have forgotten what it's like to be 13, and then grow up. Ya know, change. Characters in story-writing do it, too. Everyone does in some way, shape, or form.

The writer's didn't "do Brooklynn dirty", they had her grow up. Become an adult! All the Nublar Six kids did, while still keeping one or two things about themselves that kid-them had!

Me: *groans and sighs, then leans into the hug* ....Today just had to be the day my chores get intercepted by my being a woman....

Kiriya: *pouts, and gives her a comforting smooch on the head* It'll pass, kiddo.

Kirinji: *mumbles* Her chores would've been done, sooner, if she had woken up at a decent hour.

Kiriya: Oi! Would it kill you to be a little sympathetic?

Kirinji: *glares* ....Yes.

Oboro: .... *threateningly readies sword*

Kirinji: I'm kidding! Damn!

Yesterday, after a couple of years since having to drop Netflix, I have finally managed to find an alternative place to watch/rewatch "Camp Cretaceous"!

I'm honestly quite happy about this as I never got to finish the last two seasons of this show + the first season of "Chaos Theory", and now, I can, and my inner childhood dino nerd is excited to be binging these shows, again. This also means I can finally continue where I had to leave off in my "Camp Cretaceous" fanfic, which also makes me happy.

I finished binging season 2, today, so I will either be starting season 3 later, tonight, or tomorrow.

I thought I was going insane!!

For the last several days, I thought that Hayato Onozuka simply had like, lighter colored eyes...ya know, like a light-brown or amber, 'cause some people in this universe do have that as a natural eye color...because in some photos of him, especially when he was in JAM (not nearly enough photos of him as a yakuza man in this series, btw...I am very sadly disappointed), that's certainly what it looked like he had, and I just wanted to try and get a closer and/or better look at them, 'cause hey, Hayato with pretty eyes? Hailz yes! But it turns out...in JAM, those pretty eyes are literally just contacts!! And they're not light-brown or hazel, they're blue!!

....I'm only slightly disappointed, lol! Now, the screencapper in me wishes I could find the drama and/or movie to download, just so I could grab pics of Hayato with those blue eyes 💕. Alas, the internet has failed me, 'cause I can't find the raw version of the series to download.

Oh, well....

Oh, btw, the JAM movie missed an opportunity to give Yakuza Hayato an earring or two...and maybe even a tattoo. Just sayin'!

Random thought, but I feel like Kiriya is really hard to say "no" to (especially for Emu) because Kiriya has this like, unintentional puppy eyes look but without the pout, even when he's (eh, was) evil...and he just gets happy (Evil Kiriya would probably just smirk) whenever someone says "yes" to him or agrees with him.
