“That actually sounds amazing.” He’s missed being friends with Darius. They’d both disappeared back and forth for a long time, living their lives like they were just sleepwalking, but Desmond honestly wants to move forward like that time never happened. The idea of just having movie nights on the pull out couch and hanging out like normal is wonderful. “Not to kill the mood but it’s been really lonely lately, and I’m glad we can… y’know, just pick up the friendship where we left it. And it’ll be nice to hang out again.”
“I’m glad too! I’ve always still really cared about you. You’re like, my best friend, Dessy. You’re the only one who’s stuck by my side despite the fact that I was and can be a total shithead, and I really love you for that. I’m happy we still have our friendship.” He meant every word he said. He knew that back when they dated, he was a selfish boyfriend and extremely dependent upon the nymph. He reflected on the past, and now only hoped he could make up for it as friends again.

Not to mention I wouldn’t know the first thing how to use ‘em....” Darius crossed his arms with a frown, thinking, before having a curious face on him.
“Well, I doubt that. You may be a bit more timid, and lean more on the cute side than the sexy side, but I bet there are guys out there who would like you.” He’s trying to avoid saying that he still likes Darius, because even meaning it to comfort him could be misunderstood. “It’s not just you either. I dunno if it’s just the neighborhood or something, but it’s hard to date around here. Besides the occasional flirtatious conversation, I haven’t dated since back then.”
“Guys want sexy more than cute though. And any guys that wants cute is likely half way across the map. Dating again would honestly be nice but I think I should just focus on getting a stable food source for now, ya know? So like, I’m thinking of trying to show more skin to get the attention when I’m out. Like, crop tops would be hot, right?”
“I’ve been better? But you know, trying to fight the good fight. Man, are you still not taking proper care of yourself? I know I’m not the image of perfect mental health, but at least I eat my vegetables, and you need to eat too.”

Though there’s probably a stark difference between fresh blood and bagged blood....I’m still kind of messy and um....it’s hard to get fresh blood when you’re not exactly the uh....sexy alluring type most guys.....would.....prefer to spend a night with................”
Hey, it's been a while. Just wanted to say hello and I'm rooting for you! Life sucks right now but I do believe things will get better. We use to talk a lot and since I stopped rping a lot, we just kinda fell through the cracks. Just want you to know I believe you and I know I'm not the only one!

um so this is kind of out of nowhere and probably really personal but if any other adults with experience can give me advice on it i’d be really grateful....
So um i need like major advice on finding a place to move to. I’m kind of in a bad situation where I currently still live with my parents but rn they are expecting me to be moved out by the literal end of the year.
my problem with this is the fact that i only work a minimum wage part time job and live in the middle of fucking nowhere. like i live in the texas national grasslands and its a 15 minute drive to the two closest towns near me if that says anything.
Gas money isn’t cheap, I don’t get paid much, and i don’t know people around here. the literal only RL friend i have is 45 minute drive away and i only met him because i used to stop at the gas station he worked at back when i worked nightshift at a warehouse on my way home at 2 am.
I....don’t know what to do. I’m 22 now and they expect me to move out but I know nothing about anything, like I literally just got my very first job last year. My parents are pretty shitty, and thanks to some discord friends I’ve talked to over the years I’ve come to learn that my family is a bunch of manipulative and mentally abusive dickwads. They expect me to do things myself when they’ve never even taught me anything, constantly belittling me and comparing me to themselves. I used to just think I was just really sheltered being their first child but I’ve come to learn that they’re just controlling; manipulative.
I want to move out. I want to start having my own life without worrying about my family bitching at me or threatening me or belittling me. They’re suffocating and toxic.
but i just don’t know the first thing to do about anything and I’ve only got 5 months left until who know what they’ll finally do. I’m becoming seriously worried and scared. I want to keep being able to take care of my pets, and I don’t want to have to stop taking my bipolar and depression medication for too long. I’m not in a good place without my medication. it’s scary.
i’m just really scared right now and don’t know what to do. i need help.
