Nataya’s sprites! To be potentially used for a later level in the maritimemelancholy game
Romance! More original character art with color experimentation
Experimented with background manipulation and color-work to create a more energizing panel for HLWK
Reused old urbex footage I had taken alongside an original character to create a fun video effect
Forestry panels
Some animated panels for “How Little We Know”
More alien landscapes!
The river area (east) is definitely one of my favorite color schemes
Dialog is tricky, but a good, consistent format is integral to maintaining the player’s interest. While there’s still some modifications to be made for aesthetics, the textbox system that drives the game was definitely my first mountain when learning how to code well
Sprites for Luke and his alien colleague Franke. Or maybe he’s the alien? He’s the alien.
Map of entire outside area (without shaders) for the maritimeMelancholy game. Luke’s hive interior and secret room not included
+ Original concept map notes
More environment transitions from the Western forest area to the Burned Forest area (sized down for tumblr). Also demonstrating the “quantum leap” ability and some light combat!
Guest Planet background music done for the maritimemelancholy game
Room/environment transitions from Luke’s house + subsequent dialog branch for the maritimemelancholy game
Recent OC commission
The trailer for my first major pet project in GameMaker: Studio! Can be played here!
Nataya! A yet unreleased panel from “How Little We Know”
