The Excessively Detailed Headcanon Meme ★☆ Mukuro Rokudo
What does their bedroom look like?
Mukuro doesn't have a bedroom so much as a section of Kokuyo. But it's a section he has made very clear is not to be disturbed so I suppose it counts. When they first came to Kokuyo Land they all slept on whatever flat surface was most comfortable (Mukuro usually took the couch), but eventually as they got more settled down Mukuro ended up with a full-size bed. That's it, really, his bedroom consists of a section others aren't allowed to fuck with, and a bed with a blanket or three depending on the weather.
Do they have any daily rituals?
Not particularly, the days all kind of run together so to have a set thing he did every single day in the same way would be impractical.
Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?
He fights when he fights, but his confidence in his skills makes it so that when he isn't fighting, he's doing whatever he pleases -- and he does not please to exercise.
What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?
Kick Ken out he's just rummaging for scraps anyway. Chikusa cooks sometimes when he gets the mood for it but otherwise they just all kind of eat what's available. So when Mukuro wants to make dinner, people fucking clear out okay.
Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
YOU try keeping a fucking old building with a bunch of holes in it clean. It's next to impossible. If he's somewhere besides Kokuyo, he leaves his things around in a comfortable way but cleans up after any small messes as he makes them.
Eating habits and sample daily menu
Pure shit sums up Mukuro's eating habits fairly well. Honestly, have you seen what Chrome buys on the average shopping trip? Mukuro survives on chocolate and whatever he can scrounge together with the ingredients provided. If someone were to cook for him, he'd still not bother with lunch or dinner very often, since he's used to not eating it, but breakfast. Let me talk to you about breakfast. Mukuro loves breakfast. It is the only meal that, if provided, he will eat all of every day. His absolute favorite is chocolate chip pancakes, but if you get it wrong he won't forgive such a transgression.
Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time
Mukuro doesn't really care about time wasted so much as time bored. If he's not doing something he refuses to continue not doing something. For example, if he's sitting on the couch reading a magazine, fine. If he's sitting on the couch not doing anything, not fine.
Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging
He has control over illusions, so any indulgences he wants, he gets. But really, indulging is kind of just living to him. If you have to cut yourself off from something you enjoy, why bother enjoying it?
Makeup?
No, not really no. No. Heels, yes (if tasteful), makeup, no.
Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
Believe it or not, Mukuro is fairly well-adjusted for someone who is on his seventh life and has traveled Hell six times. He's got... personality, but no identifiable neuroses.
Intellectual pursuits?
He's quite fond of them. Honestly this is what he does in his off time, he finds new things to read, philosophers to consider, religions to study (those he has a very heavy interest in, whether or not they subscribe to the idea of Hell that he knows is true, it's the beliefs people hold that interest him).
Favorite book genre?
Philosophy mostly, though on occasion he settles down with some sort of ridiculous fiction to entertain himself (usually not science fiction, more things like ~romance~ that he finds fucking hilarious).
Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?
On the Kinsey Scale, a 4: Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual. He is perfectly alright with the term pansexual, though he does tend towards males more often than females. He has no particular feelings on sexual orientation except that if you're going to treat someone differently as a result of their sexual orientation you need to get the fuck out.
Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)
Ha, WELL, THERE'S HIS SINGLE EYE THAT IS BRIGHT RED AND HAS A NUMBER CARVED INTO IT DEPENDING ON WHAT SPECIAL POWER HE'S USING AT THE MOMENT. But no, no, nothing ABNORMAL about him no way.
Biggest and smallest short term goal?
Biggest: Steal Tsuna's body. Smallest: Find volume 2 of the works of the philosopher he's most recently discovered.
Biggest and smallest long term goal?
Biggest: Take down the mafia, rule the world, take your pick. Smallest: Grow his hair out (and never let it get to 'mullet' status).
Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress
Mukuro has very selective taste. He knows what he likes and fuck anyone who tells him heels are for women exclusively. At the same time, fuck stilettos jesus fucking christ stilettos are the worst invention ever and Mukuro will never wear them.
Favorite beverage?
He likes hot chocolate on cold days because heat is his favorite thing and chocolate is his favorite thing so hot chocolate is pretty much amazing. Otherwise he's fond of sugary drinks and when he drinks tea it has to have a good amount of sugar in it. Same goes for coffee, though he prefers the 'foofy' coffee drinks.
What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
...He tries not to think.
Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?
Ha. Hahaha. HAHAHA.
Turn-ons? Turn-offs?
Mukuro's played with a lot of kinks, a lot of fetishes, he's enjoyed many things with many different people in many lives. His most potent turn-on in this body, in this life, is heat. He certainly wouldn't object to a bit of hot wax play. He doesn't have anything that hugely turns him off except maybe poor dressing.
Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?
He would get up and walk away to find something to do for fuck's sake.
How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life?
Everything Mukuro does is for a reason, every action has a planned consequence. He only gets disorganized when his temper acts up. If he had a desk full of important papers, when he got mad at something or someone the desk would suddenly be a huge fucking mess.
Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?
Religion and philosophy are things Mukuro enjoys studying, and could talk about for ages if he wanted to. He doesn't care to talk about them though, as most of his feelings on the matter are strictly personal. And he cares very much about intellectual pursuits. In the personal life, no pursuit is more valuable than an intellectual one.
How do they see themselves 5 years from today?
Well, to be realistic in the span of five years, Mukuro will be inhabiting Sawada Tsunayoshi's body, and steadily working away at the mafia from the inside. He'll be at least half through his overall plan, and complications will have for the most part been taken care of.
Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?
He is going to destroy the mafia. There is no other option.
What is their biggest regret?
Not staying dead the first time.
Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
Mukuro doesn't have... friends. Just subordinates. He has plenty of enemies though; to pinpoint the worst would be difficult. The entire mafia is his enemy, Tsuna is his enemy -- probably the worst, really. Such a shitty, pathetic, annoying enemy. Hibari Kyoya is his best enemy.
Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?)
Move on. If it was caused by an enemy, destroy that enemy on principle, but things like fires don't bother Mukuro.
Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)
Kill everyone responsible.
Most prized possession?
Chrome (ha ha, that's a joke)
Thoughts on material possessions in general?
In all seriousness, material possessions are nice, but highly unnecessary.
Concept of home and family?
Those are things meant for others, not himself. He is meant to touch on people's lives unexpectedly, to appear and disappear at whim.
Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?)
It depends on the subject. Talk about sex and he'll embarrass you for life with a smile. Talk about death and he'll get a strange look in his eyes and not say a word.
What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?
If he enjoys something, it isn't a waste of time. He's lived too many lives to worry about whether or not he's using his time wisely when he's having fun.
What makes them feel guilty?
Nothing. Mukuro does not do something without intent of doing it. He has no room for guilt.
Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?
Depends on how much you've pissed him off. But honestly even when he's angry Mukuro does things how he wants to do them.
What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?
A day off, really. A day off from manipulating things to go in his direction, a day off from giving orders, a day off from dealing with things. A day of just not giving a shit, and relaxing and doing whatever he feels like, even if that means laying upside down on the couch and reading or playing a game or something. This really only works when he's away from Ken and Chikusa, they're good subordinates but jesus christ a man can't relax and take care of them at the same time.
Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither?
Neither. Mukuro is too far separated from the human existence for what he has to be considered a complex.
How misanthropic are they?
'Marked by a hatred for humankind and humanity.' Laughs into the abyss.
Hobbies?
Other than the reading and studying he does, he passes the time in any number of ways, but nothing can really be called a 'hobby.' Unless you count the bit of mind-surfing he does. Minds are terribly interesting things. Not thoughts, minds.
How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?
He didn't even go to kindergarten or any kind of primary school. Mukuro has zero formal education in this life and honestly he thinks the system is a little silly. However, if you don't wear a school uniform you are wrong.
Religion?
Religion is... intriguing. Humans are willing to go so far for things they believe, for faith, and Mukuro knows the truth of Hell and reincarnation and has seen no proof that Heaven exists. But what he knows doesn't make him enjoy religion less. He studies it happily. It's the things that are done in the name of religion that disgust him.
Superstitions or views on the occult?
If you ask him about demons he will laugh. If you ask him about aliens he will laugh for an entirely different reason.
Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
Whichever is more appropriate at the time, though deeds are vastly more common, and much more difficult to misunderstand.
If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?
Love is a petty word. He believes this not out of meanness or disbelief, but simply because even 'true love' fades quickly in the scheme of things. He may have loved someone in his first or second or even third life, but he doesn't remember anymore, he doesn't care. Love is petty. But... relationships are nice. Mukuro meshes well with many personality types to create a hundred different relationship types, and none are more or less significant than the last. He holds no ideal.
How do they express love?
He expresses affection physically. Not through long naps on the couch but through sex, through making them feel good, through keeping them happy effortlessly. He shows affection by letting them escape even if it means going back to the worst place he's ever experienced. He does things subtly, quietly, so that by the end of the day they don't know if they're being used or taken care of.
If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?
Brutal, fast, deliberate. No move is wasted.
Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
If Death were to finally come for Mukuro after seven lives, he would welcome it with open arms.
